Recently applied EC (EC duration 2 years) for a receipt of Rs 45/- with a bribe paid Rs 155 (200-45). EC issued in 15 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sub registrar office in Sarjapura. Have discharge deed done for apartment. (Plenty of typing mistakes, lucky to look into it, got corrected) Charges:375/- Bribe: 1500/-. EC charges 40/-, Bribe: 300/-. (EC given in 30 min).
One of many govt offices in Bangalore,which runs on Bribe. Shameless people, don't hesitate to ask bribe. I was helpless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not happy. I couldn’t understand what was happening overall. Atleast sone token system should be followed. Some way to monitor who is in the queue or not.
Anyway. Personal views are not good. Ppl were helpful and patient.
