The doctor was very friendly and helpful, as well as the attendant. They have a lot of good doctors visiting throughout the week. Also they have pet supplies there.

My 10 month old male Labrador puppy was not eating his regular meal for quite a few days.. especially the packed food like drools so we decided to give only those things which he wants to eat...he was eating all the nonveg and Vegetables in a slow pace but still eating.....my dog is a food lover like all others but seeing him so choosy, we decided to take him to a vet named A. Bhattacharjee..he said he has got fever that's why he is not eating...he gave some high doze antibiotics...(he did all this just by analysing from far ...not even touching him) So next few days we gave him those medicines as prescribed ...he started having extremely hard noisy breathing problem and he was unable to sleep ..he didn't sleep for 2 days staright because he could not put his head down to rest...again we went to the same doctor to tell him that the condition is detoriating badly....the doctor then gave a respiratory tract infection medicine....my dog's condition worsened ...we took him to the most rated doctor of Kolkata....from Calcutta canine clinic.....at that time my dog was already breathing extremely heavily yet that doctor did nothing .. I also asked him that will he live or not...he said it will take time but he will....there was a oxygen cylinder in his clinic too...yet he did not take my dog seriously....he gave some urine test and then next morning he ordered us to take the blood test too...which we did as early as possible....that day just the report for the blood test came and in a second my love took his last breath.. before that he only drank some water ....then he wanted to sleep so he discovered his favourite corner of the house ...in a few minutes of his sleep ....he made a sound... vomited out hug amout of pinkish watery blood and took his last breathe. I called so many people that day...no one picked up the call... Literally no one... MIND YOU BOTH THE DOCTORS WHO TREATED MY DOG ARE PHD DOCTORS AND HAS SERVED MANY YEARS ALREADY IN VETERINARY FIELD. BOTH OF THEM MISGUIDED US BADLY. Few days later urine test came..they discovered presence of e coli in his urine....we could have saved him. The first doctor gave medicines without being sure what he is doing... The second doctor neglected the seriousness of the case... My dog was our family member ...we brought him up with utmost care....we everyday cleaned out house with Dettol including bathroom..we dewormed him from the beginning....he was kept always clean...he was happy. Hope you understand now... For further information you may contact me ...I will try my best to help you. If not my dog then atleast other souls like him need help too. Firstly all medicines are not available and secondly the vet treats based on his assumptions...so if you want to treat your pet as a lab rat then you are welcome. Just opening a pet store with a so called vet is not everything. You need to create trust within your patients and other animal lovers. Shame on you all.
