★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SWaCH Was "GREAT".
I had been to the SWaCH Trail on 5th July, was a great experience.
Impressive was the door to door collection, segregation & composting done by a single bhai for 200 flats,doing the work with Smile & Without any Complaints."HAT'S OFF" to the Field Workers of SWaCH.
I met two ladies,one Smt: Shantabhai Ovhal who has been working since last 20 to 30 yrs, greated us with a Sweet Smile & was Very Humble to explain us the full process of the work they do & they looked so.....Satisfied with their work, that was"EXCELLENT SWaCH".
The Teams Members were great, Ravi Damre was very humble & calm answering all our question's & explained the full working process of SWaCH.
It's Time to "WAKE-UP" Citizens.
That's we who generate WASTE So..... Carelessly.PLEASE THINK Over IT.
Thank U "SWaCH".
Looking forward to be with U.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had some old harddisk and some mobile phones. So gave it here. They filled up form with my name and contact. Don't know for what it was. They also take old video game consoles. The office was little cramped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Swach first came to our society in which they conducted drive to collect old stuff like e-waste, clothes etc.. in which I contribute some of the stuff but took further contact do give up more stuff which was in my storage. They told that once I had all the stuff I can give a call to them and they will come and pick-up the stuff.
After lot of to and fro conversations on phone for the transportation involved as the stuff was packed in big ?. They never came to pick-up and one fine weekend I planned to end this and hired a tempo from porter by myself to deliver the stuff at their nearest collection point.
I agree that they are doing a very good job for the society but they lag in communicating and co-ordination. I took the tempo at their defined collection point where no one was there and person on the swach helpline was not even aware who was there at the collection location even though I informed them piror that I'm coming to deliver 4-5 boxes of clothes and stuff.
People were literally playing with me like volleyball ? giving each others numbers to contact where everything has to be explained from start.
They are really good if they improve their co-ordination with each other. Also one peace of suggestion please use porter application to make arrangements for people who cannot come in person to deliver the stuff.
I'm giving it 2 stars as my experience was not that good but it will not be the same for everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently moved to Baner and had some thermocol waste to be recycled. I contacted Sandesh ( Swachh coordinator for Baner, Pashan, Aundh etc areas). Called on the helpline first, they were so so cordial and helpful. Sandesh arranged the thermocol waste collection from my doorstep. Thank you so much, Swachh for doing this marvelous and noble cause? Your team is so inspiring and generous. Kudos to Sandesh and Swachh team?
