The food that we tried (pasta, charcoal-PavBhaji, a few chicken starters, pizzas) and the alcohol (whisky, dragonfruit cocktail and a few more) were tasty. Overall the place is worth a visit and then some...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is good for hanging out with friends over some booze. It has many choices to offer in food and beverages , neat place ,small yet accommodating a DJ booth , bar counter and outdoor seating. Typical Balewadi High street pub - for fun times and hangout.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered Piri Piri fries. They were basically fries with Red Chilli powder. On requesting a replacement we were told thats how Piri Piri spice is.
Good vibe, music.. bad experience. Bad food.

This place ticks all boxes in terms of customer service, cleanliness, menu versatility, value for money and flavour! For that reason, we have been regulars since July 2021 - each time we visit (usually once a week) we’ve never left disappointed.
The menu is so diverse that we never get bored of eating at Swig. We’ve pretty much tried most of the dishes and let me tell you there are a lot to choose from. The portion is good and nicely presented. Our favourite have always been avocado salads, sushi, chicken pho, baos, dumplings and shashuka unfortunately it’s no longer on the menu!

Rustica Pizza and New Jersey Style Disco Fries with some drinks
I highly recommend fries they were absolute worth it and quantity was also nice .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While looking for restaurants in the Balewadi high street area, we came across Swig/Kinki, an outdoor/indoor restaurant serving both Asian (Kinki) and Italian/continental (Swig) dishes.
Being bored of having the same pasta, pizza and garlic bread all the time, we decided to try some asian fare this time.
For appetizers we had the Prawn Tempura sushi (4pcs), the sushi was served with some pickled ginger and wasabi on the side and overall tasted delicious. The prawn had an amazing crunch and the rice had a good texture too. Cannot comment on the authenticity of the wasabi but it accompanied the sushi well. (Try the wasabi at your own risk though cause it's not for everyone)
Next were the Swig dirty fries, highly highly recommended, delicious cheesy fries with mushroom and bell peppers sauted in barbecue sauce, made for an amazing appetizer.
Moving on we had Harissa Paneer Baos (4 pcs) and Veg Chilli Oil Dim Sums (also 4pcs). Both again highly recommended appetizers! The Baos had a soft and fluffy texture with a big flavourful paneer piece and lettuce inside and the dim sums had a spicy & tangy veggie filling. The dim sums were accompanied by 3 different condiments which complemented them very well!
Onto the mains, we ordered the Donburi Bowl and Curry Ramen bowl (both Veg). The Curry Ramen bowl had Ramen noodles, mushrooms and tofu all in a pool of curry. The flavour was quite different and earthy. It was like comfort in a bowl. The Donburi Bowl had teriyaki gravy with veggies served over rice all topped with sesame seeds. Those who like teriyaki flavour/want to try something new you can definitely go for this dish.
Overall, the service was good and the food, even better. I had a great experience at Swig/Kinki bar and restaurant and I would definitely recommend visiting it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food sone of the dishes were below average, great ambience and live DJ music beating. The service could be improved I left it's not proactive we had to hint them down for orders. A bit expensive food menu. Overall a good place to spend some time.
