★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely and seemingly clean beach... A few shacks here and there serve mouthwatering crab dishes, fresh catch like bhetki and pomfret along with country poultry...
Alcohol is strictly prohibited but you can supplement it with sweet coconut water...
The water is pleasant to take a dip in and rhe sea not very rough... A very enjoyable place ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, away from crowd. Tajpur is probably one of the few less crowded places with huge sea beaches. The sea is peaceful and shallow near the shore. Lots of beach shacks when one can eat, sit and enjoy sunset with a drink. Many resorts and budget friendly hotels are there in Tajpur near sea beach.
Vist with family or friends for one or two days, best weekend getaway. Its just 173 km away from Kolkata by road and easily reachable via rail too.
