★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One has to travel 16 kms extra if he/she wants to go to Chinsurah or Hooghly in his/her bike/car from the side of Naihati. But thanks to this proper ferry service, one can easily cross the river at a very minimal cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last ferry available upto 9pm at night. It reduces distance around 15 to 20kms depending where do you live and you don't need to board a train from Naihati to Bandel station so thus reducing your travel time.
