★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This imposing building has three compartments, each topped by a dome, the central hemispherical dome being larger than the fluted flat domes on the sides. It seems that there were graves in the building which were removed later. It is assignable to Lodi period(A.D.1451-1526).

It has three chambers, each topped by a dome.
The central hemispherical dome is larger than the flat domes on the sides.

It seems quite odd to have this type of ancient architecture in highly populated areas like Mohammedpur .
I have visited this place always in evening and found closed . But no one can stop you to watch around the outside.
This large tomb of Lodhi period, holds architectural style of mosque. It is quite possible that it was made as mosque, later converted to tomb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent ourchildhood here when it was just a small jat dominated village . That time we use to come to play to the park in front of the tomb and use to curiously enter the tomb freely hearing all kind of stories. This Mohammad pur had many small tombs within the village. Not sure what happened to those .
