It's a junction this station connect major cities and states directly with out changes of separate tracks TAMILNADU, TELANGANA, ORISSA, NORTH STATES ALSO How ever it's mjaor station, because of Vijayawada junction which is just 32km away from it some trains not have halt here. However from. Past few years appearance of station is changes with some constructions and facilities to passengers FACILITIES in station AT STATION ENTRANCE :- bike parking area, auto and car travels stand. ENTRANCE ((East side))::- at entrance of station Hall , Ticket counters, enquiry counter, in corner reservation counter PLAT FARM NO 1 :- Escalator ?(up only) , LIFT FACILITY ( UP and down) , RAILWAY POLICE STATION, STAION MANAGER ROOM, STAION MASTER ROOMS, parcel offices, waiting hall, wash rooms, food stalls, ENTRACE GATE AND EXIST GATES LINKED WITH PLAT FORM NO :-1 PLAT FARM NO 2 ::- Lift facility ( up and down) ,waiting halls, food and water stall . PLAT FARM 3 :- escalator ( down only) , waiting halls with wash rooms, food stalls. PLAT FARM 4 :- waiting Hall along with wash rooms, separate toilets Entrance Gate (( west) :- ticket counters,

It's quite big with most of the passenger amenities The platforms are neatly maintained with a bit of landscaping and greenery. There is sufficient parking and cabs and auti rickshaws are available outside the station premises There are refreshment stalls vending hot local delicacies.

Recently, Escalators are also started in the same platforms, but they are only for climbing up (from platform to the foot over bridge).Now Tenali Junction Railway station has Superior high speed free Railwire Wi-Fi for everyone.

One of the best railway station to maintain cleanliness. The rear side booking counter is not functional due to COVID restrictions. Ample parking space n local auto rickshaw availability is a plus.

General waiting hall is there for women. The main thing in Tenali Railway Station has Escalators and lifts those who are disabled persons. But now escalators are not working because of lock down i think. WIFI options free for off an hour and also have paid WIFI services. But you have to give your mobile number to get OTP. Paid WIFI plans are available if you want more and speed. So easy to commute from one platform to another platform. Amenities like drinking water food stalls very less available in platforms. Need to improve the maintain. Parking facility available. Good connection to all stations and overall a good one.

A	A K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tenali junction never going to fade away from my memory. My train 12434(CHENNAI RAJDHANI) Stopped here on Nov-20' 2021, due to the Nellore floods. More than 24 hrs, my train stopped here due to floods. The station was safe and nothing bad happened. Shops outside the station are very less, but you'll get enough foods at a lower cost. There are six platforms, two is for local trains and rest of them are for Express trains.
