★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled upon Thaiphoon a couple of days ago when we were craving for Pad Thai Noodles. We decided to take a chance and I was so happy with their food that I placed the second order within a week. We've tried the Veg Pad Thai and the Veg Drunken Noodles and they are exceptional. The non-vegetarian food is also really really really good. I've had Thai friends at Uni and eaten the food that they've cooked and this is the closest I've gotten to eating authentic Thai food in Bombay. I am extremely happy with what Chef Suriya and Chef John have started. You must order food from here atleast once. Don't forget to order the Dessert with the fried Onion garnish...it is divine.

Dot at 1.30pm, calling bell rang & hot food is delivered at doorsteps.
This restaurant in Azad Nagar, Andheri is very particular about Hygiene part -- following maximum safety measures as per WHO Sanitized Protocol.
Kitchen staffs, packaging staffs delivery staffs are following all the safety measures from wearing masks, checking food temperature, contact less packing in safe boxes to ensure we can enjoy our favourite food at the comfort of our home.

Appetizer -
1) Chicken Poh Pia Tod - crispy thai style spring rolls. The taste of the filling was really good.
Noodles -
2) Prawns Pod See Ew -- Charred flat rice noodles with prawns, broccoli, mushroom, babycorn, carrot. Super tasty, serve with fish sauce. It's a complete meal itself..
Main course -
3) Thai Green Chicken Curry - mild, aromatic green chicken coconut milk based curry served with pandan leaf infused steamed rice. This dish leaves a satisfying effect on mind..
4) Phaneang Prawns curry -- Big size prawns are cooked in mild creamy coconut milk based sweet, salt, nutty peanut curry, served with steamed rice. Though the curry looks red hot. But it's not at all spicy in taste..
Traditional Thai desserts --
5) Khanom Moh Keang Thua ( with eggs) - awesome Thai custard with moong beans
6) Khao Niew Naa Nual ( eggless) - glutinous, steamed, mildly sweetened soft rice topped with coconut milk, garnished with black beans.
The portion sizes of all the dishes are perfect for 3 people.
I've found it totally value for money to enjoy HappyMeals at home with loved ones on anyday as per our wishes ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered for food from this place today and got a bill which has container charge and delivery charge which was not informed to me while placing the order, and when I called John the owner to share the same he was very rude and said that you should know this , I was telling him I have never seen a container charge in any bill of food that I have ordered but instead of understanding he was just very rude, also the quantity is very less and when I told him he was like this is the quantity one person eats and just not understanding any of my concerns
You can see the pic of the quality it is fitting in one hand how can even one person eat it
This guys spoilt my new year with the way he spoke never going to order from them or even recommend them to anyone

If Thai food is your favorite cuisine and you are looking for a great place to have Thai food, then Thaiphoon is one such place.
I just love this cuisine because of the remarkable flavors and vibrant colors. The packaging was really good and spill proof.
I have ordered the following dishes from this place.
Chicken Khanom Jeeb: This is Steamed Thai Dumplings. It’s a Thai take on a classic chinese dimsum. I was very satisfied for trying out this dish. It was lip-smacking.
Nam Tok Gai: Thai grilled chicken herbs salad with lots of veggies and peanuts. It was heavenly in taste.
Prawns Thai Green Curry Bowl: Loved the curry. It was mildly spiced and quite flavorful.
Chicken Drunken Noodles: The noodles portion size was great as was the taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had ordered takeaway for 1) Suki Nan which was delicious. 2) Phaneang Curry prawns which was not bad 3) Massaman Chicken Curry rice which I absolutely loved,though rice was a little less,4) Banmee Heang Nam Deang which was good. For starters it was the yummy Khanom Jeeb Chicken and Poh Pia Tod Chicken.Wouldn't mind ordering again.
