β β β β β Loved the place, it's design, the old Kolkata pictures are cherry on a cake for a person like me. Some photos are real and some not. The place name is renamed and it's not Thambi but it's also a vegetarian restaurant only. Two sections are provided for Ac and non AC. The tiffin items good but the sambar provided with the dish is sweet which was little disappointing. The filter coffee is top notch.

I like the Place you will feel rich.
Second Food is Authentic and Tasty?
I have ordered masala medu vada
And my girlfriend ordered Mysore masala Dosa.
ΰ₯§) masala medu wada was amazing ? mind blowing? and Fantastic???
Serve with Sambhar with additional two Chutney.
ΰ₯¨) As I said my gf ordered Mysore Masala dosa but she got Masala dosa
As I know mysore masala dosa look Red ?.
My concern is not about the taste.
What I was expecting about mysore dosa that i didn't found.
Otherwise Everything was awesome and fabulous?β¨.

β β β β β The place is best for South Indian food like idli Sambar, dosas and their simple veg thali just like the home cooked meal. The only disappointing thing is they do not serve sandwiches or juices during lunch time. Food quality is decent otherwise.

β β β β β Not everytime I prefer a vegetarian restaurant when I'm with my family, but I'll be very honest, Thambbi changed my mind! It is so good, the taste, the ambience, very decent, perfect for executives to have brunch or lunch! Not only it serves south Indian food, its north Indian dishes were also amazing! I would like to visit again.. whenever I want to have a veg option! ;)
