ਇਸ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਤੇ 1577 ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਰਰੋਵਰ ਦੀ ਖੁੱਡਾਈ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਰਰੋਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਵੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਬੈਠਦੇ ਸਨ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਣੀ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ. #ਥੜਾਸਾਹਿਬ ?
इस स्थान पर 1577 में श्री गुरु रामदास जी ने बैठकर पवित्र सरोवर की खुदाई करवाई थी। और जब सिखों के पांचवे गुरु श्री गुरु अर्जन देव जी ने पवित्र सरोवर को पक्का करवाया तो उस टाइम भी श्री गुरु अर्जन देव जी यहां बैठकर संगतो को बानी सुनाते थे। #यडासाहिब ?

ਇਹ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਉਸ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਦੇਹੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਥੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਬੈਠਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਦੀ ਖੁਦਾਈ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਵੀ ਇਥੇ ਆਏ ਸਨ।
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਰਾਗ ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ‘ਅਠਸਠ ਤੀਰਥ ਜਾਹ ਸਾਧੂ ਪਗ ਦਰੇਹ’ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਕੁਝ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਥੋਂ ਨਹਾਉਣਾ ਆਤਮਿਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ 68 ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ' ਤੇ ਨਹਾਉਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਲਾਭਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ.
Gurdwara Sri Tada Sahib Amritsar is located in the Sri Harmandir Sahib complex near the entrance of the langar hall.
This place marks the place where Guru Ram Das used to sit and supervise the excavation of Sri Harmandir Sahib Sarovar.
It is said that Guru Nanak Sahib and Guru Angad Sahib also came here.
Shri Guru Arjan Sahib Ji recited the Shabad in Raga Ramkali 'Sixty Eight Tirath Jah Sadhu Pag Dareh'.
Some believe that bathing here is more spiritually beneficial than bathing in the 68 holy places of India.

It is also called athsath tirath means sixtyeight pilgrims. As before the publishing of Aad bir Guru Granth Sahib shri guru Arjan Dev collected all the pothis ( sacred books of writing of Bhagat's and previous Guru Sahib ) first of all ,all the pothis were placed here ( this place )
