★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is really beautiful, with amazing back drop and music. The food is finger licking good. We had the tangdi kulfi which was soft and delicious.
The major problem was that on the sitting table at one of plates, we saw cockroach. Really disappointed with that. Although they compensated with gulab jamun but it left a sour taste on the hygiene aspect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place caught our eye as we were driving by in panjim and it turned out to be an amazing feast for our palate. The beetroot Tikka was something unique and took our taste buds along a path that was very less travelled. The saffron lachcha paratha is a must try, along with a suitable side of your choice, for a fine and fulfilling dinner. The live music was a great add on to the eventful night as well!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place has amazing ambiance and with good to moderate food if you choose right. We ordered a pinacoloda and mojito for drinks the pinacoloda was nice the mojito was nice but a bit too punchy.
For food it was a chicken kebab which was nice and a the highlight of the course which was tangdi kulfi which is a must have if you ever go there and then there was the bhiryani which was alright i expected it to be better. Overall it was a well balanced meal with great staff to add to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place oozes opulence and royalty. The interiors are aesthetically done and will transport you back in time. The hotel is spread over three floors with cosy enclosures within each floor. Each enclosure has an artistically different theme. Coming to the food part, we ordered chicken and mutton biryani and both tatsed awesome. The quantity was good too. Need to make a special mention of the cocktails....they were simply mind-blowing! To sum it up, the place has an awesome ambience, wonderful wine and fabulous food.. pretty much everything that one expects in a fine dine experience. We were attended by Neeraj, who was fantastic and helped us a great deal in making the right choices!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to this place with my husband for dinner on Thursday. We ordered a kabab which was cooked with a leaf. They serve some crispy papads along with the meal which are really good. Unfortunately, once I finished the kababs there was a small live cockroach on the edge of my plate. We immediately called the waiter, he took back the plate and got me a clean one. Then we ordered a mirchi pakoda which was filled with keema. It was a bit spicy but good. We asked for some papads, but this time they were not crispy but a bit soggy. Got them changed and the fresh ones after that were crispy. Liked the food, did not like the fact that there was a cockroach on my plate. We were given gulab jamun as complimentary sweet dish. It was probably to make up for the cockroach but i would have any day preferred a discount over the sweet dish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently visited this beautiful, royal and elegant place in Panjim. A school house turned restaurant. A vintage property with traditional architecture The Awadh House got me glued. This place serves the finest Awadhi Cuisine straight from the land of nawabs.
We started off with drinks such as Paan ki Dukaan (a vodka based cocktail with infused betel leaf and lemon grass) which was good.
The welcome drink before we started the food was tomato shorba and was so very tasty.
Nalli Barrah Lazeez was one delicious appetizer which is presented so well. Tangdi Kulfi was my personal favorite where chicken was coated with rich sauce cream cheese, pepper and wrapped in plantain leaf and cooked in tandoor. Absolutely divine in taste. So rich in taste and tender❤ Ajwaini Fish Tikka was another delicacy which was spicy and so good. Go for it guys. Murgh angara kebab was extremely delicious, with right flavors of mustard oil, yoghurt and spices.
We jumped into main course where we had Kali Dal, Dal awadh (highly recommended) with roti. Murgh Matka Dum Biryani was a decent and flavourful dish served with raita. For the dessert we had the classic phirni which was served in matka. Loved it.
Absolutely loved the presentation and taste of all the dishes. A great place to have some scrumptious dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited it twice in February 2022 and both times had a fantastic experience. The food was outstanding. The dishes were so well spiced it was a delight having them. Not overbearing at all. The meats tender, the rice aromatic, the flavours amazing. For me food has to appeal to all my senses - look good, smell good and taste good. It ticked all the boxes. The ambience was lovely as well. A must visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food at Awadh House is mesmerizing. However the service time is extremely slow. If you like a well placed meal and love to sit for hours it's good. But if you want to really binge fast then this is not the right place. Some good stuff to try out.

A must must try is the Butter Chicken for non veg and Subz Miloni veg with Saffron Paratha . Loved it.
