★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still one of the happening places for people of thane...3 stars only for the fact that nowna days its bit little over crowded and tmc could have been proactive in keeping in more clean..work on space around the lake by regulating traffic..
Lot of street vendors around..one could not help the feeling of having un hygienic conditions ..
boating facility is okay and not a bad place at all for early morning jog..and outing during evening time..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its one of the most relaxing place in Thane. Since there will be few couples not holding back to show off their Romance,i would recommend not to bring your kids at nightime. In the evening very pleasant and colorful view of the lake.
You can enjoy boating and have nice food at the closeby hotels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place in Thane to hangout with family & friends. Just sit and enjoy nature or take a walk. One can even enjoy boat ride (paddle boat & machine boat) at nominal charges. There are horse rides facility too. Lots of chat and snack corner. So perfect place to hangout and chill with friends and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lake itself offers a pleasant & calm view. However the sidewalks surrounding the lake have been in miserable condition bcoz of rain and constant repair/renovation works.
There are boating options till 9 pm, horse riding available too. There are many small snacks stalls around the lake. Also outlets like Preeti Sandwich, Havmor Icecreams, etc in the vicinity. Has a TMT busstop to get to your destination afterwards.
Great place to visit to have a peaceful walk by yourself or walk & talk with someone.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a good place to visit during evening. You can do boating, horse cart riding. Rides for children, street foods are also available. Price for boating is 25 or 50 per person and 50 per person for horse cart riding. Mosquitos are there, better if you use mosquito repellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place near to thane station. Good place to hangout with friends and family. Area is surrounded by eateries , joy rides, restaurants. It has something for everyone from horse carts to children rides. Best time to visit post 6pm. The lake it self is surrounded by busy streets but when you sit at any of the seating area, you can easily forget about the traffic moving on the streets...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most popular recreation spots in Thane, over centuries the lake area has receded. The lake has been spruced up in recent years with the authorities getting it desilted and adding aeration by which the water remains good and odour free. Commonly used by fitness enthusiasts to walk or run around the lake boundary seems a perennial work in progress. Paved section abutting the lake is uneven. The lake shore houses a well known auditorium. Many horse carts are found around the lake offering rides. So too street food vendors. At the centre of the lake is a small temple. Fountains inside the lake are lit and operated at evenings. It is common to find sea gulls in the lake attracted by food offered by people.

The place is bustling with locals and visitors, especially in the evening. The place though crowded is well maintained. You can see couples sitting around the boundary walls, walkers and parents enjoying boat rides with kids. There are few eateries around as well as street food hawkers ready to serve you.
