European street foods are very special because of their own unique way. Generally, every place will have certain special foods which might become the identity of the whole
geographical location. Similarly, European street foods are special in their own way.
Some of the food items of European street food have become symbolic to the countries of Europe. The Doughman, in this, regard, is bringing to you some of the delightful
delicacies from the two most popular countries in Europe where street food has become iconic; Italy and Mexico. So, you will not have to go to the country to savour the
delicacies of Italy and Mexico because you can have them right here in Kolkata at The Doughman. Located at CF 333, Sector 1, Salt Lake, Kolkata near Baisakhi bus stop. We
were served with a couple of mouthwatering delicacies, which consisted of both savoury and sweet options.
•Chunky Brownie: brownie chimney cone with 2 in 1 ice cream, chocolate sauce, topped with brownie
•Red Velvet:cone filled with nutella, vanila ice cream and topped with butter scotch
•Jalapeño Cheese Sauce/Peri Peri Korean Twisted Potatoes: fried cubes potato with jalapeno cheese sauce and peri peri sauce

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's okay, as informed it's a street food variety of Prague, and has both sweet and savory options.
I tried the sweet dessert version as a safe bet. It was nice, but nothing extra ordinary that I would visit again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being born and brought up in bengal I have a special place in my hearts for sweets and desserts. If you are also someone who isn't afraid of their clothes getting stained by the overflowing nutella sauce, then this is the place for you.
Location: Sector 1,Salt Lake.
Approx price : ₹ 250 for two
Taste: I am a personal fan of nutella and oreos and a combination of that would blow my mind. That's what exactly happened with the "dark desire" An ice cream with the combi ation of both with a crunchy cone. A very delicious adventure unfolds as you go done the cone. And if you are planning on eating here get ready to get your hands dirty, the chocolate sauce will definitely get out of your hands.
Ambience: the place is well decorated but does not have a very huge space, if you drive there it would be better that you get that delivered. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. Service is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location: It is located right next island of Baishaki Bus Stop. Moreover, it falls under the bus and auto route of 201, 215, 43/1.
Ambience: The place is quite cozy and bright. Few chairs are available and the hospitality along with staff service is quite appreciable.
Food Review:
Following are the savoury chimney which me and my friends ordered. I guess the quantity of one is enough for an individual.
Paneer Makhani: This dish is totally finger licking. Cottage cheese tossed in thick makhani gravy and cream.
Thai Veg: This one is specially for the ones who are concerned about health. Seasonal Veg cooked in thai curry.
Cheesy Blast: Especially prepared for all the cheese lovers. This is cooked in white sauce and topped with cheese.
Crepes: Another signature item of Doughman where cheesy vegetables are stuffed with pancake with choice of cheese or sauce. We ordered two pieces, one cooked with cheese and white sauce whereas the other with Nutella.
Maggie Magic in Pesto Sauce: This I would recommend everyone to give a try. I literally loved this. I had no idea that maggie can be made so interesting as a stuffing.
Red Velvet Ice cream Chimney: The red velvet cone was filled with delicious vanilla ice cream. The topping was done with red velvet and syrup
Royal Pan Ice Cream Chimney: This was literally the climax of everything we had. There was coconut cone which was filled with gulkan pan flavoured ice cream.
Overall my experience at Doughman was totally satisfying and the food was literally ten on ten. The prices were totally economical as well. Highly recommend and would love to visit again.

We went around afternoon, so we were the only customers there, they seemed interested in the packet we had & commented that we get savoury items from them since we already had bought sweet stuff from another place. That’s definitely very intrusive. While we were looking at the menu & placing an order, the staff tried to add more items several times.
The KOREAN TWISTED POTATO was over fried & weird so won’t recommend it.
We asked for another takeaway, which they hadn’t started preparing for until that point but lied about it so they won’t have to cancel the order. The staff also asked us to give them a review.
Overall, I don’t recommend the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This newly opened place near Saltlake swimming pool is pretty cool... They introduced the edible chimney cone for the first time in Eastern India... The place is very small but very beautifully decorated... Staffs are very well trained... Service is fast too... But I didn't like the food that much... Presentation was very good too... Pocket pinch is bit on higher side...

Location : 2mins Walk From Salt Lake Swimming Pool, Opposite To Domino's Pizza.
Ambience : A Small Place Could Fit Around 6-7 People At A Time. Did Like The Entrance Though With The Grass Feeling And Nice Colourful Theme.
Staff : Friendly And Humble Staff.
Food : I Tried The Savioury Cones, Would Love To Try The Sweet Ones Again Someday.
• Paneer Makhani Chimney : Was Good, Although I Didn't Find Why It Was Suggest As The Best Seller. Still, Was Good. Classic Cottage Cheese Tossed In Rich Makhani Gravy And Served Hot.
• Italiano Chimney : Liked This Particular Chimney, Just Like Having A Pizza. Bell Pepper And Corn Cooked In Herbed Flavoured Tomato Gravy.
• Mushroom Melts : Mushrooms Are Love, Can Have Them In Anything. And Mushroom And Cream Crepes Are Beyond Love. Like These Here..!!??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doughman is a recently opened small eataria in Sector 1, beside Saltlake swimming pool. Its a very pocket friendly place for having some yummy concept foods. Currently they are serving only Veg food but Non veg is also coming soon.
They have Indo-Europe fusioned Savoury cones, ice cream chimney, twisted potatos and shakes.
Among them Paneer Makhni Savoury cone was fabulous.
We also had Chunky brownie that was also good. And we get one twisted potato as complimentary from the manager which was very tasty but much spicy as well.
Decor was also nice, simple, well maintained. They have small sitting capacity of 8-10 people.
Do go there you will have a good time.
