β β β β β I have to visit 5 star hotels often for work, and I can surely say that the guards standing outside harass those who do not come in private vehicles, the most at The Oberoi. God forbid you turn up in an Auto, get ready for some questions.
This extra layer of snobbishness is probably a side effect of The Oberoi for long being considered to be among the top hotels even among the huge list of five star properties in and around Delhi.
While I haven't had the opportunity of staying here, have probably visited the place 5-6 times to attend conferences, events and cocktails. The large square courtyard on the ground floor, in between the interconnected halls is a favourite place to sit and smoke.
The location is a bit of a drag. Difficult to get public transportation outside the hotel.

β β β β β I was a single adult travelling to delhi and this was not my first time travelling to the city but it was my first time staying at the oberoi new delhi.
I know I do not need to write to reaffirm what thousands have already commented. But I was awe struck by the oberoi new delhi experience, it felt like covid 19 never ruined anything in the world and here at Oberoi everything was at peace.
Their breakfast is not your usual routine like 5 star buffet, they do put things on table which no 5 star is doing even other oberoi properties. They had Japanese melon which was crazy nice. You would never go unnoticed incase you needed anything.
The rooms,
I do not remember last I was taken to my room and explained everything that kind of personalised experience just does not happen anymore. Each room has a butler service and every thing in the bathroom is toto (Japanese lux).
A friend of mine remarked that their rooms are small but trust me they are perfect cosy and they have the best view. I remember the tree outside my room window would dance in the breeze in slow motion.
I wish to take my mother there to stay hopefully soon.
Thank you oberoi new delhi it was a great pleasure staying with you.

β β β β β This has been and will always remain the finest luxury hotel in New Delhi . The visitors have changed over the years but the renovations are tasteful and reflect a simple and clean modern design which has always been a signature at this property. Miss the old days of going here for barber shop and getting takeaways from the pastry shop and enjoying a burger at the coffee shop which was adjacent to a giant skylight bird cage .

β β β β β They need to put better sign boards. Hotel entry did not have good sign board which is easily visible during night especially when it's raining. The lobby can have better sign boards for restrooms. Exit path did not have proper lights and signs. Overall services were good.

β β β β β I was not staying at the Oberoi but had gone for a meeting in their coffee shop - 360. I have an ankle fracture and was wearing a cast. I asked a staff member the way to the coffee shop, and she said that the Oberoi only has one i.e., the Delicatessen Patisserie. This is incorrect as both the 360 and the delicatessen serve coffee. She then proceeded to take me to the former and upon reaching I discovered there were stairs. I asked if there was a lift, to which she said no. I then had to take the stairs with my broken ankle. Upon being informed by the staff that I was expected at 360, I asked them if there was a lift, as I couldnβt possibly climb all the stairs again. To my great surprise, they pointed to a lift right outside the shop. The Oberoi is known as one of the finest hotels in Delhi. I actually really like the place. However, as a five star property, do you not believe that the staff should also represent 5 star training? This level of incompetence and poor knowledge of the establishment does not reflect 5 star service, which ought to begin right from the entrance.

β β β β β The best Oberoi experience.
The hotel actually feels like a top notch 5 Star Hotel. You will find that this property will give you the full experience of luxury. Wishing their entire team to grow and keep thriving for better quality.
Must visit place if one can afford it.

β β β β β Great place to be. We went there for Valentineβs dinner. Staff is very friendly, and helpful. Place itself is gorgeous, and great place to take pictures. It also have multiple restaurants along with rooftop bar Cirrus 9. Would definitely try stay at Oberoi one day. I would highly recommend trying food at Omya.
