The Royal Courtyard , a Multi-Cuisine Fine Dining Restaurant - Kolkata

Great ambience for the family and romantic couples. We are watching India ?? vs South Africa Cricket test match with Mutton Rogan Josh on our plates. Dal Makhani and Butter naan is too good , the best in south Kolkata.

The Royal Courtyard is located just 6-7mins walking distance from Netaji Bhavan Metro. The place is quite spacious and could easily accommodate during rush days. It is a multicuisine restaurant that serves quite amazing dishes in North Indian and Chinese cuisine. We tried many items, starting with the mocktails Pinacolada, Sunrise, Green Apple Mojito etc. Then we had the starters Yakitori Paneer, TRC special kebab, Chicken Dynamite, Chicken Lasuni kebab etc. Moving on towards the Main Course we had Murgh Sasdagee, Bang Bang Chicken, Devil's Choice, Desi Videsi Sabji. Lastly in Dessert, we had the Toffee Walnuts with Ice-cream and Darsaan. RECOMMENDATIONS ? Yakitori Paneer ? The Royal Courtyard Special Kebab Loved the overall experience there, would definitely visit again!

Situation at the crossing of Purna Cinema, uder the name of The Opus- A boutique Hotel. They serve great food.. Do try konjee crispy chicken, the murg lahori.

I have recently visited this boutique hotel in Bhawanipore named as The Opus. It has this in house fine dining resturant which serves great food. The Ambiance is cosy . The decor is quiet simply. There are elaborate seating arrangement. Starters- •Yakitori paneer- It tastes amazing. The paneer is soft and delicate. The spices hit you at right points and there is a burst of flavor. •Dynamite chicken- soft tender Chicken . Tastes great and the quality is good enough. •The Royal courtyard special seekh kebab- it was a 2 layered kebab. The meat almost melted in my mouth. Must try. •dragon roll- great options for vegetarians. This roll is crunchy on the outside and has a wholesome filling on the inside. Mocktails- ( must try) •Pinacolada-subtly sweet and had a very lovely presentation. •chat ka mary- it had guava in it and had chillis which gives you the hint of hotness . Main course- Those who likes spicy food You can definitely try out the- Chilly garlic Noodles , bang bang chicken and Devil's choice. They are extremely spicy and so please keep a check on this while ordering. Great options for spice lovers though. •egg wrap Rice- looks very fancy and classy. The presentation was amazing. •Murg sasdagee- the chicken was amazingly cooked. The curry was amazing. Went very well with the rice. •Desi videsi sabzi- typical north indian mixed veg sabzi. Very good option for vegetarians. •Adrak Mircha Roti- Definitely try this out. Very unique to this place. It has stuffing on the inside. Dessert- You can have darssan with icecream or toffee walnuts . They are pretty amazing. Had a great dine in experience. Will visit this place again.. Lovely hospitality.

Located at The Opus - A Boutique Hotel , this multicuisine restaurant is at the first floor of this Hotel.  The interior decoration is quite classy and the seating area is huge. More than 50 people can dine at a time here. Now, coming to the food we tried both North Indian and Chinese food. we started our food journey with some refreshing mocktails (Green apple mojito, sunrise, chat ka mary, pinacolada). The mocktails were made awesome. Next we moved towards the starter section which includes both indian and chinese items. We had both chicken , paneer items in this. Among those amazing starters really liked their special Kebab which is a two layered kebab ( Outside had the chicken coating and the inside had the mutton coating), chicken Lehsuni kebab( Soft , juicy chicken mixed with amazing spices) , Yakitori paneer ( Amazing paneer cubes tossed in special sauce and with a little bit of smoked flavour), Dynamite chicken ( Spicy yet soft coated chicken tossed in sauce and served with lots of green chilis), dragon rolls ( Spinach, cheese stuffed in flour coated rolls). After this wonderful starters we headed towards the main course :- Like the starters we had both Indian and chinese dishes in Main course too. Under chinese section we had :- Veg chilli garlic noodles and egg wrap fried rice. With these two we had two side dishes :-Bang bang chicken ( shredded chicken in sweet and spicy gravy) and Devil's choice ( spicy mixed veg curry). Under Indian Cuisine section we tried different types of breads ( Laccha paratha, lifafa naan , adrak mirchi roti , pudina paratha). The Assorted breads went really well with their special murg sasdagee ( Keema stuffed Chicken in a thick, creamy gravy ) and desi videshi sabji ( various veggies in an awesome gravy alike dish ). The combo of these were fantastic. We ended our meal with two superb desserts :- Darshaan with vanilla ice cream and Toffee walnut with vanila ice cream. Both the desserts were really classic. The overall food was really good. The portion was quite good. The price was affordable. The quality and quantity of the dishes were great. Really impressed by the presentation of the dishes and the service of the staffs. Highly recommended for lunch and dinner with your friends and families.

Visited yesterday for dinner. Ambience was simple and eye-soothing. Food was great. We requested not to make it spicy so that our little kid could eat, and they made just like that. taste was as good as it could be. Overall spent a good time there.

It was a planned visit to The Royal Courtyard after reading reviews on Google and we were not disappointed at all. The thing that impressed us the most was the polite behaviour of the staff who would help you with your choice of the menu. Food was really sumptuous and reasonably priced. The decor is simple yet elegant. Ideal place to visit with family or friends and capture beautiful frames. We would love to visit again.

A joint very cosy to dine in during office hours. It's just beside my office and located at a very prime location of Bhowanipore ( on main road). Mostly North Indian dishes are available and food quality is too good.
