★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is nice museum and in the official campus or the highness Dalai Lama. One should visit this museum for a sure. It shows the miseries of the Tibetians in past many years. The people of Tibet have been deprived of their rights they can not speak in public against the regime else they would be put behind the jail for infinite days. There are many old pictures,coins and post cards from the period of Tibet when it was an independent kingdom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must visit place. The video session was eye-opening. The collection is fantastic and well preserved. Such rich heritage and culture. The shops outside sell good clothes and souvenirs.
You can buy nice and cheap postcards at the reception. Parking is a slight issue but that's with entire McleodGanj.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum have huge collection to describe the history of Tibet (Specifically Tibetan people' struggle after annexation of Tibet,Some stories portrayed here seem a bit overtly biased. There is a documentary film shown here at 11 and and 3 pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Tibet Museum is situated at the entrance of the main Dalai Lama Temple in McleodGanj. This museum is not a very big in size, but has some important display of Tibetan history and uprising of the Tibetan movement. Half an hour is sufficient for this place and one should visit to know more about the Tibetan cause and movement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Tibetan museum is a good museum which gives us about the history of the Tibetan Buddhist monks. At the entrance of museum a granite memorial is placed to tell about the sacrifices of monks. We can see the pictures of various monks who are killed by the Chinese army brutally in the walls of the museum. It is located beside the Dalailama Temple which has many monuments and many Buddhist monks live in there. We can know about their daily living activities and the offerings to the God are quite strange. The offer cookies, chocolates and dry fruits to the God. I didn't see any temple where these kinds of offerings are made. There is a huge divine roll present in a room and we can roll it with our hands and there are some writings on it which I didn't understand that time.
