★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible staff. When we tried to enter the restaurant the staff outside told that restaurant is little busy and asked us to go somewhere else. He did not even allow us to enter the premise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is ok ok here. Their desserts were really great, but other things we tried here were just ok-ok.
Though the quantity of food for price is good, the quality can improve. We had ordered curry fish and chicken kafreal which were just average. Even rice and dal fry was just average.
They do have one of the best Serra Dura, a classic Portuguese dessert (like a pudding) which is a must try if you plan to visit here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst place I’ve ever been too. I went with a few friends, they refused to give us a table of 5 nor did they join the tables for us. We waited for 20mins for them to give us water. And 30 mins for them to say what is your order we haven’t started preparing it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were just roaming the fontainhas and were looking for a restaurant for lunch. We stumbled upon this place. The moment you climb the stairs you are taken 50 years back into history. Heritage vibe all over the place, quite pleasant even for an afternoon.
We expected cafe menu for vegetarians but they had a pretty decent vegetarian options and we order some Indian stuff and the veg au gratin, it was pretty good.
The server was very cordial and was talking very nicely. Few dishes came a bit late but that was informed right when we were ordering so we planned other dishes accordingly.

Nestled in rustic hills above Verandah, their charming speakeasy transports you to an era of ease and refinement. It's a throwback where you can throw a few back. Established in the year 1888, this place is synonymous with delicious food that can satiate all food cravings.
