β β β β β Hello City !!
Wake up to your weekend and letβs their in house brewery @thethirstycity127 located at the most happening place Todi Mills.
Nikhil was the star of the evening , he actually briefed us super welll with their brewery and types of the served they did.
He understood our taste of beer and exactly served upon the same.
Deepak the manager truly respected our presence and made sure our evening was worthwhile at this place :D
They have variety of Beers they serve:-
They in-house brew 7 types of their own beers having all their own taste ranging in all variety.
We called for Thirsty Simone Beer , their in-house creation bursting with flavour, vibrant yet refreshing it entices taste of buds with aromas of bananas and clove like spiciness.
Thirsty Ninja - This Irish style stout is complex, rich and smooth. It has coffee and chocolate aromas from toasted and roasted malts, wheat and oats.
Sweet lips: Apple Cider
A crisp and refreshing cider with floral and fruity notes balanced tartness and sweet finish.
My personal favourite goes to the Miss Sweet Lips ! A total unique one with a nice fruity taste.
Freshly curated their in-house Coconut wine made in front of us on our table ! The master blaster bar tender actually practically showed the making of coconut wine with natural coconut water and coconut pulp , and I must say itβs a sure shot hit to their menu.
And the uniqueness here is it was served in the natural coconut shell giving the authentic taste of this wine.
Food:-
Hand - Tossed Neopaliton Style Pizza
Oven dried tomatoes , yellow cheddar , avocado and salsa verde.
This was a real good pick ! Guys do try this.
Couscous & quinoa Salad with mint and honey mustard dressing was a tasty and healthy curated one !
And all time favourite the classic Margarita amazing base to the pizza and the cheese melted made it a real taste.
I was really impressed when on special request they made us a non alcoholic mocktail which was fresh orange with hint of ginger and soda, it was really soothing and refreshing.
I can actually give this place more than a 5 star, it was just perfect in every way ! From their bar to the food and the service.

β β β β β Thirsty is an international brand that has opened its franchise restaurant in Mumbai named "Thirsty City 127".
The restaurant is a two story place (ground + 1). The ground floor consists of the brewery along with the bar and seating areas (on either side of the entrance). Its a dimly lit place with classy decor.
First floor is an exclusive area for " a select few" and has a much better decor with a separate entrance (speakeasy concept). It has a separate bar with its own unique range of cocktails. The ceiling is laden with hundreds of small bulbs giving it an excellent ambiance.
The restaurant has its own brewery (which the staff was gracious enough to give me a guided tour). The restaurant has a separate team of "cicerones" (beer experts) to oversee the process. As a special guest they let me taste all 7 beers (see pic) out of which I liked the best were "Happy by Thirsty" (first beer by Thirsty in India) and " Thirsty Sexy Pig" {Recommended}.
In cocktails, they have a range of cocktails divided by process rather than ingredients, out of which I tried Da Vinci Code, a vodka based cocktail with apple and citrus flavour. Liked it!
Coming to the food part, they have limited food menu (focusing primarily on drinks) with emphasis on authentic preparation without the use of any proprietary ingredients.
We had Sriracha Seafood platter, having deep fried fish fingers that went well with the dip. Loved it. {Recommended}.
We also tried Chicken Pasta Aglio Olio which is a spaghetti prepared using olive oil. A decent preparation.
In Hand tossed pizzas we ordered Aglio Olio Shrimp pizza where shrimps fried in olive oil and garlic is used as a toppings along with goat cheese. Good to taste. (It was a bit bland for my amateur tastebuds towards european authentic preparation.
We ended our dinner with Flourless Chocolate Cake made of dark chocolate cream topped with tutti frutti giving it a fruity taste that I liked.

β β β β β THIRSTY CITY - 127 (PLOT 127 TODI Mills) First look at this place - you that that chic feel. There is a wow factor. Having their own Micro Brewery adds attraction. Amazing cocktails and homemade tonics syrups is the USP of this place. Though a bit on the higher side they use the best ingredients. Thirsty Hours Tuesday to Sunday - 6 pm to 9 Pm (check this out) Food menu is conceived (a bit less for the vegetarians I feel) But whatever we had was top notch. Must order the Pizza's (amazing)
Started off with some Gin and Tonics - Loved the Cucumber/Dill (freshness all the way) Even the Strawberry/Rosemary was amazing. Switched to Homemade tonic - tried a couple of which were good as well. Moved to some interesting cocktails. Highlight was the coconut fermented wine. R&D behind this was amazing, executed well.
I have been having the Negroni. Here the chef made a white Negroni which was again amazing. In short the cocktails Created by Thirsty City 127 are Contemporary/Progressive/futuristic/ at the same time refreshing. As per your taste one can order what he or she wants. Be it Aromatic/sweet/after meal/savoury/easy going/complex and so one. Tried the Beer Tapache as well which was futuristic/complex/savoury with flower/Himalayan salt/honey/tequila as the base and Fermented Beetroot. (Amazing) Apart from the menu they have their own creations which are different. Request please visits the place to check it out.
Coming to the food - Menu conceived but loved whatever we had. Divided into Tiny plates/Hand Tossed Pizzas (Neapolitan style) not so tiny plates and desserts.
Amazing wine list to choose from and last but not the least BEER ON THE TAP (including the Cider) and COFFEE BY KAFFA CERRADO must try this as well.
=================================================================
MUSHROOM PATE - this had a lovely rusty texture (smooth) a bit subtle. Served on Tiny Crispy polenta cake which was good. Topped with fried leeks and garnish of scallions. I personally loved this.
Panco Fried Chicken - sounds simple but tasted lovely. Perfect in texture. Garnish of parmesan. Texture of the dip on which the chicken was placed had good flavours. Semi thick like a tartar. Combination was good gone well.
Grilled Asparagus - a must try dish. Loaded with flavours. Get the smokiness from the grill balsamic glaze gives that sweetness and cuts the sharpness of Pecorino cheese. Fresh.
Pizzas - This surprised me. From the trust to the texture and taste. Spot on. A bit of Mexican take (can't call it Mexican) but they have used some oven dried tomatoes/Avocado and salsa Verde to give that Mexican touch. Cheddar gave that glaze to the pizza. Overall the taste was yum. Go for it.
Pan Seared Silken Tofu - this was complex. Crisp from the outside and gooey from inside. Had a touch of Thai (coconut and peanut) served with exotic vegetables this was good. Had that Punch and bold flavours.
Dessert: Baked cheese cake - simple and yet classy.
Overall - This 4500 sq feet place has the class. In short a complete package of some finest Beers/Cocktails/Wines/Food and coffee. Go for it.

β β β β β Thirsty City 127 has its own beer brewery. What else is needed to say for the drink collection here?
Best place to hang out with friends at the bar having a fantastic and very different type of drinks.
Now wonders, they have been nominated for the first-ever 30 Best Bars India 2019.
Coming to the menu, we tried a bunch of items but to name a few of my highly recommended items are
Hot Shot β The name says it all. It was a spicy drink made with Black Rice Beer, Bhut Jolokia, chilli, Lemon, Spice Mix.
Smokey Affair - Gin with smoked grain and herbs, gravity-filtered white chocolate liqueur, Homemade dill cordial and lime topped with quinine water.
Lotus Root Kung Pao β Crispy Lotus root, perfectly sautΓ©ed in roasted peanut, Hoison and Siracha sauce
Malaysian Chicken Satay β Four pieces of juicy chicken satay topped with peanut sauce.
Chicken Chorizo Pizza β Thin Crust base with just the right amount of topping.
Tempura Prawns Taco β Super delicious. The soft taco with the iceberg, guacamole, Siracha aioli, and prawn was a deadly combination. I loved it totally.
How could I miss this fantastic dessert here? Simple and super tasty, small beauty.
Petit Four β Orange and lemon, Baileys, Smokey white chocolate, coffee flavors with homemade liquors and dark chocolate
Overall a fantastic place to enjoy with your gang at the bar.

β β β β β Thirsty City 127, a hidden gem ?
A bit more expensive, stylish and on the upscale. Welcome Thirsty city 127 at Kamala Mills.
Exquisite cocktails, kindest staff and good vibe.
Yes, the drinks are on the expensive side and food portions are small sized, but the quality is great and calls for a good fine dining.
For a change: we did reverse meal trying and tried more cocktails than food and we loved it as the bartender whipped some amazing stuff.
Their drinks are expensive. However thirsty beer is amazing and so is their happy hours.
Pyrus
A vodka concoction, perfectly balanced with fresh pear juice and house blend of spice. Topped with lemon grass
They have gin tonic on tap. Imagine.
On tap 250βΉ thirsty beers

What I loved about the menu was how they mentioned the history of the Wine makers like Loke Vincent Girardin, Philippe Prost, Nik Weis, Louis Barruol.

They have great Coffees by Kaffa Cerrado 350βΉ pricing.
Strawberry cheesecake : This was a special edition and I LOVED IT. The crust was chocolate crunch and dropped with strawberries and so moist.

β β β β β Thirsty City is a new addition to Todi Mill area and should be visited for all good reasons! One of the firsts microbreweries of Mumbai, the place is a heaven for alcohol lovers of all types alike.
They brew their own beer and currently have 7 craft beers on their menu. Of all, Happy, Ninja and Sweet lips were our favorites!
And while you love their beer menu, do look forward to take a glass from their cocktails' section!
The food menu is compact in size. If asked to pickup, Pan seared Silken tofu, Pan fried Gnocchi, and their pizzas are must tried in the house!
Overall the restaurant is worth an experience!you could also check the place for private gigs and parties!!
