★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One day One elderly lady was in need of stay for a night.I approached Mahalaxmi layout Police, They directed me to this PLACE,I accompanied elderly lady to the this place,however they didn't behave well,they sent me back saying go and get the letter from Police Station,Even though they agreed over the call to give shelter.So I went back to Police station again , Police called this place again & said please give shelter for a night, again they agreed, I again went back to this place, again they were like we need letter, arey boss if you need letter,why you are saying yes over the call to police,This time i took one of the staff from this organisation,then after lot of convincing from Officer in charge. With a condition that morning they(police) have to take elderly lady out of this Place.I did casual talking with this coordinator/administrator of this place,he said even though police gives letter we will not help any elderly person. So my question is why did you open this place,? Is to make money?So much reluctant to give stay for a night to elderly person.Hence i feel this place is NOT an NGO to support elderly people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have seen this place very closely and there is lot of scope of improvements. People staying there are denied basic aminities like water sometimes ,when the water is cutoff from owner due to non payment of Rent. Food and medical check up supply is good i feel. there are frequent quarrels among resident old people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This old age home is in a good location. There’s a park infront of this old age home. Around 15 people are there in this old age home. Good facilities for the people are provided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tungabhadra senior citizen old age home is a registered organized run by Thunga badra vidya samaste(R). I have been to this home for some information and help. The senior staff Vinayak was very good in gesturing us and provided what we need. This home is maintained by a young team as well. The home consists of around 20beds and labors take care of elders well.
