★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is located around 25 kms away from Lonavala city. The fort is good for trekking and offers memorable experience to the trekkers. From the bottom of the hill to its top is an arduous path. The pathway is narrow and have steep climb. It takes around 45 to 60 minutes to arrive at the top of the fort. A Shivji temple is at the top. During the trekking few spots are there where one can take a break and buy lemon water, butter milk and cucumbers. The last leg of climb is very tough and need patience and perseverance with self determination.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fort is a good trekking destination. Takes approximately an hour to reach the peak (balekilla) of the fort. From where one can amaze with panoramic view of Pawna lake and it's surrounded region.
There aren't too many concession stands for food/water, so carry your eatables with you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place with good trek experience. One would have a good weekend trip near to dehuroad, lonavala.
Wonderful view and best time to visit in and around diwali duration.
Roads are quite better as compared to earlier ones. Though in some stretch still roads are not in good condition.
Awesome view at the top and one can have a camping⛺ experience also with pawana.
Overall a good time to spend in pawana area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The views from the top are amazing. Try getting there by 7’ish in the morning for a peaceful hike up and some good photos. Around 9 we started seeing some large groups climbing up. We took our kids along and though we couldn’t muster the courage to go beyond the first plateau we did see quite a few families with young kids actually go far beyond.
Car parking is a scam I suspect. The owner of the last shack just outside the fort’s official parking will argue with you that the official free parking is meant only for 2 wheelers and then will charge 40/- to park your car in a large open area in front of his shack. But I happily agreed with him because the official parking spot is really small and you risk being boxed in by 2-wheelers or cars that could make it difficult for you to get the car out later

Situated on top of the Tikona peak, this fort has an altitude of 3633 feet from the sea level.Located near Kamshet, Tikona Fort is one of the easiest treks in Maharashtra. The route is very safe and wide. A great hike for beginners.It takes approximately 30-40 mins to reach the peak from where one can enjoy exhilarating and panoramic views of Pawna lake and the surrounding region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Short trek scaling around 700-800 Metres . A rookie can easily climb the Fort .Few steep patches ,top scenic beauty i.e Pawna lake backwater summons up the fort .You can also spot Tung fort from the top also few stalls available during hike which consists of refreshment drink

In this review pics added date (Aug 2021 and March 2022)
Recommended must visit in Rainy and winter season.
In summer it was very hot temperature if you start treck @ 10 am.
Family can also complete this treck if maintain proper walk and 5 min rest method.
Stairs are available @ fort places only...rest patch are natural road.
Many places are here where you can't stop for clicking beautiful nature creativity.
Fort also made with technical architecture and looks good.
At fort you can few old things like Cement mixture setup, temple, water caves..etc..
