A	Avinash patra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Tung Fort is just 12 to 13 kms from the Lions point. The road is narrow and around 4 kilometres the road conditions is very bad. It's a beautiful trek and will just take 45 mins to 1 hour to climb up to the fort. The scenery around it will live you spellbound . Take some water and food if you want . Once you reach the top your excitement will have no limits. You can view the Pawna lake and Lohgad fort from the top.

After clearing first stage, one would find a small ganesh temple and a small pond. Greenery is at its best along with water fall. Try to hike during monsoon as it increases the beauty of the place.

P	Prof: Keyur Khatri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Difficulty level is one step above the beginner. Climate is awesome which changes in few minutes, fogs makes it beautiful. Climbing is bit easy but getting down is a task. It will take around 3 hours maximum to climb and getting down. Road was pathetic, it is full of pot holes.
A	Abhijit Savant on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As the name suggests, we may assume that the trek of this fort is very difficult, but it’s very easy. The fort Tung(Kathingad) was built to protect the region of Pavan Maval. Fort was not as significant as others in the history. In 1657, it became a part of Swarajya with all other forts situated in Maval region. In 1660, Netaji Palkar was appointed to protect this region. In 1665, Jaysingh invaded this region. Dilerkhan and others destroyed the villages around Tung & Tikona, but were unable to conquer these forts. Then, according to Treaty of Purandar (signed on 12th June 1665), Kubadkhan with Halalkhan and others took over fort on 18th June. This fort was built with an intention to keep watch on transport from Bor Ghat. From this fort we can easily locate Lohgad, Visapur & Pavan Maval. As the top of the fort is very small, it takes only 1 hour to see it. Way towards the fort goes along the temple of Maruti. From here we can go further by steps. After few minutes we reach at Hanuman Mandir. Next to this is the main entrance to the fort. Through this we can go at the top. At right side we see Ganesh Mandir. At the backside, we see water trench. From here we head towards citadel. Here we see temple of Tung Devi. Opposite to it is a cave in ground. Here two or three people can be accommodated. It is a one-day trek.
J	Jasmeet Saluja on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tung Fort is a beauty hidden and is at an armstretch length of 7km from Pawna Lake which is another gem near Lonavala Tung Fort is a small 1.5km hike but the terrain is little difficult specially since its all natural (no stairs) although concrete stairs are being developed now The views throughout thr trek is spectacular although there's nothing much left of the fort once you reach the top. There's a Hanuman Temple, Ganesh Temple and a Devi Temple on the top
N	Namrata Chavan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have a vehicle with bad suspension don't even think of visiting this place. The road till amby valley is good but the last 8-10 km patch is soo bad that you will want to go back. But if you decide to go ahead then it will be worth it. The trek is a medium level trek. Not recommended for beginners as it has some Rocky patches which many people are scared of. It will take 1.5-2 hours for the ascend and same time to descend so plan accordingly.
