★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated in mehrauli archeological village, opp Rajon ki Baoli, just walking distance ahead from Jamali Kamali Tomb. Taking kids or historians are all a part of the learning process as it teaches about the architectural expertise the people of that era had. Not many know about this as very limited details are available about this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This monument is present just behind the rajon ki baoli. There are many coffins present there. And the best part you can go inside them. Not in the coffin but inside this monument. Really nice and adventurous monument to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Lodi Tomb is located in Mehrauli Archeological Park, behind the bus terminal and belongs to Pathan period.
Originally the walls of the enclosure were broken with arched recessed which has been restored.
The tomb had an octagonal bastions at each of the four angles, which had been disappeared. But now the bastion in South East corner has been restored.
It is a Chattri that occupied the centre of the raised platform contrasting numerous tomb within the raised enclosure. The Chattri measured 5.96 Sq. Mtrs. and stands on a platform, is crowned by a done and is supported by 12 dressed stone pillars.
There is a narrow staircase on either side of the northern wall. The main entrance is through a projected platform on the southern side through a flight of stairs on a square chamber below.
This colonnaded tomb stands on a rather large plinth over which are several graves. In a ruinous condition, the staircase to the plinth leads from each side of an arched opening that leads to a flat domed chamber.
The corners of the plinth are emphasized by semi octagonal bastions. Towards the rest of the tomb canopy are remnants of another similar building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is written on the discription chart of the monument, it is of pathan period not lodhi.
Nice tomb, but doesn't look as spectacular as compared to other tombs in the Mehrauli archaeological park premises.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This tomb is situated at the extreme end of the Mehrauli Archaeological Park and the road to it might look deserted at times. The tomb has been renovated and well kept but entry to it was closed in Feb 22 due to Covid restrictions. It has a nice architectural design and a bonus for history lovers.
