β β β β β Highly recommended. Bobby (who's full name is Babulal Dangi) gave me a very good walking tour through Pushkar. During his very much value -for-money (!) tour of about three houres I have really seen and most of all, experienced, the highlights of Pushkar. Under his guidance I could walk over the gaths and visit a number of temples in a highly respectful way, implying that this way your visit is also completely accepted by the Indian people. He knows very much, will answer any question you have, is very attentive on the well-being of his guests. In between he will (if you want it, he does not put any pressure) bring to good and also very good value-for-money restaurants, for coffee or lunch. One restaurant had a splendid view over the ghats. After his tour, if you have the time and energy :) , you can go back to any place on your own. Though he also took me shortly to two shops, the products were nice there, and he left it completely to myself if I wanted to buy anything. At that point, I did not want it, so after a short look we went on. Once again: a great guide who also speaks highly understandable english, with focus to make you feel comfortable.
