★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Town Hall was built sometime between 1890 and 1894 and was handed to the Municipality of Bardhaman to help them preserve the remnants of Lala Bansogopal Nandey.
The municipality board restored the hall in 1990 to its present form of 2400 square feet from its earlier form of 704 square feet with a seating capacity of 485 seats.
It is one of most famous and well known places
Of Burdwan.
Its open everyday, mornings to till 9 p.m.

Very well maintained by the respective authority (i.e Burdwan Municipality). Atmosphere of the place is very amazing. People come here for refreshing their minds.The ground is about 1.5 KM away from Bardhaman railway station. Very nice place to visit.
