We recently visited the property Travalong Nivaan over the weekend. We were a group of 7. 5 adults and 2 children. The property is huge and there is a farm nearby so it take you really close to nature. Kids can play in the huge lawn on both sides of the villa and the view is nice.
On the flip side, the maintenance of the property is really run down. The pictures shown are not what the property looks like. The furniture is not upto the mark and even the curtains had stains on them. The two bedrooms which are not attached to the main house do not have clean mattresses and one of them has a broken ceiling which they have temporarily fixed. We even found a dead rat in one of the drawers. Same is the case with the kitchen and the swimming pool. Really dirty and not up to the mark. Very let down by this maintenance.
Caretakers are warm and they really tried to help. But they also had to be reminded to clean the property. I was also skeptical of the sanitation since neither the care takers nor the cooks were wearing masks.
We also had a bad experience with the hosts Nakul and Sharada as there was miscommunication between them.
