★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at the right bank of holy river the Ganga, this place is a destination for not only almost all of the Hindu cremation parties from the surrounding areas but also those from other districts too. Adjoining, there is a bathing ghat usually crowded round the year by pilgrims to take a holy dip into the river Ganga and a ferry ghat which renders ferry service across the river from early morning to evening time every day except in case of stormy weather. This place is historically important too on a note that it houses a large block of stone which as said was used by the mythological character from Manasa Mangal, Neta Dhopani(the washer lady) for washing clothes.

If you come to this divine place you feel like you are in Banaras Ganges ghat. Plenty of shops are near this Ghat. Restaurants are also nearby. You can get average quality of foods. Beside the Burning Ghat there is the holy Saptarshi ( 7 sages) Ghat situated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good condition. 2 electric chulli running for 24 hours, so no more rush. You need Rs1000 for electric burning & Rs 350 for burning certificate for cremation. You will get burning certificate on the spot, do no more waiting time.
