β β β β β I have been visiting Dr. Shukla for almost a decade now. He is a wonderful doctor, who is direct, doesn't beat around the bush.

β β β β β I did not find Dr. Bhushan Shukla good at all.. He has unnecessarily high fees but his consultation is not upto the mark. I took my son for language development problem .. He just suggested a few speech therapist .. Thats all.. . He didnt even try to assess my son . Very Disappointed as I wasted Rs 2000 on him.

β β β β β Dr. Bhushan fails justify fees of Rs. 1750 for 30 minutes. As psychiatric pediatrics, he failed to connect to parents and children.

β β β β β They're offering appointment after 20 days with Dr Shukla. How can somebody depend on such rarely available doctor who cannot be reached sooner or in emergencies? Looking at his activities, he is more interested in workshops and seminars. I wanted a hands-on doctor dedicated to patients so moved elsewhere rather than falling into an organized trap. Besides, the staff is totally untrained and ignorant. When called they gave an appointment after 2 days. I travelled 65 km to reach this place only to find the date is shifted to 20 days later. The fact that I travelled long distance didn't bother them. Probably the moolah from workshops & seminars matters to the doctor more than spending more time in the clinic. Couldn't trust.

β β β β β I had a violent strike of depression after a tragedy in my life. I undertook all the therapy provided by the psychiatrist. I had an appointment with my doctor and asked if I could give an important medical exam. He said that I am fine and can go ahead by giving the exam and even apply in the army college if took the medication properly which is just months away. I went to this doctor for a second opinion and he directly said that I have bipolar disorder. This condition takes years to cure or forever cannot be cured. This direct opinion hit me hard. Now I am stuck to pin as I am having terrible fear. I do not recommend this blunt understated diagnosis and would not recommend this clinic for mild psychiatric help.

β β β β β Horrible! 1500 Rupees for an advice you can easily get on Quora! Oh yeah, he's famous and all, but so is Quora & somewhat handy. Dr Bhooshan fails to connect with the child & is angry with the parents - as others have also pointed out. He seems to consider only those cases which are pathological and doesnβt investigate beyond few known common patterns of behaviour. Perhaps thatβs why heβs made himself famous β a formula business! So if your child is suffering from anxiety disorders or such mind related issues, you better go to a counsellor or a different doctor. Further, heβs also as blunt as he is uncaring and in a hurry to see the next patient. That explains why itβs difficult to get an appointment. If you still decide to visit him, it's because you feel helpless. Fact is, you will end up feeling cheated and hopeless, much worse than where you began. We thought he was our last hope but our child continues to suffer even to this minute. He allowed us to speak for ten minutes. Didnβt ask a single question. Did not speak one line to the child. But he concluded that there was no reason for her problem - which, our pediatrician said was purely psychological. Yes, there seems to be no reason but what do you think childhood anxiety should look like? A war wound? Horrible!

β β β β β Any doctor, particularly paediatric psychiatrist, need to be very understanding, considerate and compassionate not only towards children but parents as well. We parents approach phychiatric after exhausting all other options. If we are treated like customers, we feel hopeless. Dr. Bhooshan may be good medically( as per his introduction), but he himself need to learn to listen, understand and connect with child patient and it's parents before jumping to conclusion. He may be good for minor psychiatric problems who can afford his unjust fees.
Anyway, NOT RECOMMENDED to

β β β β β First of all very high charges. Despite that I visited him for my child's delayed milestone problems. After listening to us, instead of providing his views, he asked us to get 2 more appointments with his colleagues. What's the point of reaching out to him if he cant provide his opinion? Is such high fees only for listening? Definitely not worth.
