Badly managed. Worst place . Security guards are there allaround with only work to sit and chat among themselves. It's just lovers place for illegal encroachment. Was excited to go in even paid entry fee but only to be angry with management and government. Worst managed historical monument

This is a ruined place now. Once the third city of Delhi existed here. Mohammed-bin-Tughlaq once created this city called "Tughlakabad" which was cursed by Nizamuddin Auliya. This place had a mosque in this city where you will find only few broken and fallen walls and bricks. Check my photo which shows the mosque. #historic #letsguide #ancient #heritage

An incredible place! Crumbling Tughlaqabad - the massive third city of Delhi (the circumference of the outer walls is nearly 60km)was built in the 14th century for a mere 5 years (and abandoned nearly as quickly afterwards). this is an incredible site and a beautiful and majestic place to stroll among the ruins of Delhi's past. This is definitely one of the top historical sites to visit in Delhi and I would strongly recommend putting it on your itinerary.
