★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Udipi restaurant is in lanes of Ghatkhopar. Visited during my morning visit to Ghatkhopar. It's Saturday morning and restaurant was occupied by close by gujarati friends. It was nice to see guys enjoying their breakfast. Apart from Idli and Dosa you will see in menu bread toast which seems to be famous as I could see it on order plates. Had idli and sambar it was awesome..!! Some may feel sambar is sweet (easy guess given its location). Delicious morning breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too good, delicious food, hospitable atmosphere and convenient parking facility if you are an early bird. Mysore sada dosa, dahi wada and steamed idli are my delicacies. Love to visit almost all holidays. I travel from KANJURMARG to Ghatkopar East just to have good breakfast. Must go and try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Udipi with my friend today. I ordered few items and he ordered thali. He finished his rice and chapatis but left most of the items in the thali. He told me that they were not edible.
Before when we were deciding where to go for lunch he told me, there is no argument, in Ghatkoper, you simply go to Udipi.
Given his good experience in the past and the degradation of the quality of the food, he wanted to give the owner some feedback.
When the owner came to our table, my friend showed his plate and told him that he could not eat any of the curries. The owner simply raised his voice and told my friend point blank "if you don't like the food, don't come here!!!". My friend, his wife and I were totally shocked at the response. My friend had a verbal altercation but the owner was getting more aggressive and yelling at the top of his voice. The owner seemed more like a goon than the owner of an (allegedly) respectable restaurant. If the verbal back and forth had gone on any longer, it felt like the goon, er, I mean the owner would have resorted to physical violence.
As long as you eat whatever they serve, pay and leave quietly, you will be fine but if you have any grievances and want to talk to the owner, be prepared to be yelled at, humiliated and judging by his tone and body language, he might even beat you up. Good luck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dosa was good but Sambhar is very sweet. Suggested to restaurant owner to saparately keep authentic sambhar without sweetness. In whole of Ghatkopar it's difficult to get sambhar without sweet taste

Order the regular tea, little watery could be made better. Nice clean place. No A/C.

Ordered Masala Dosa which was very hard rather than crisp. Potato filling looked stale and not edible.
If you only want to fill your stomach and no taste go here.
They charge over the top of MRP for packaged items.
Staff is not friendly at all.
