It is very good tourist place, those sculptures & ancient place take us to bygone era, such a monument Concerned authoritis are not taking care properly. some parts of the interior cave were shabbily maintained , one can find bats everywhere unpleasent smell spoils the spirit of monument . They collect minmal enterence fee from that revenue authorities can take initiative to clean mess and appoint one guide . Its is worth visiting monumental place once in while.

Decent place to visit. Sculptures are elegant. I thought that thease Caves could have been suitably protected by ourselves. Anyhow everyone try to visit this heritage place.

Ancient caves of 5th century with rich culture. We can see attractive statues of Rushi's. Marvellous and long stone carving of Padmanabha swamy Diety on second floor of the cave. Ancient transcripts can be seen on the floor of second floor. View from top of the cave is mesmerizing. Negative: seems like these caves are completely neglected and not maintained well , it smells quite odd Inside. Entry ticket is 25/- per person. We can reach here easily but return might be troublesome if you don't have your vehicle as you have to wait for public transport.

Good for a short visit, especially if the weather is pleasant. I would not classify it as must see for tourists. I have been to Ajanta, Ellora, so comparatively Undavalli caves are quite small. The Vishnu statue in sleeping posture inside the cave(watch out for the bats) is impressive. I really the like the view from the top though, open space and lot of greenery around.

A must go place. Will need about 45 minutes to be spent there. Has a lot of steps to be climbed. Just one shop outside. Best time to go there is 9 am when it is not too hot and just opens. Parking will be on the road. So not sure about how it would be during peak time.

Awesome experience. Not as big as other caves but great nonetheless. Beautiful carvings and great views of the nearby areas. Rate of entry is 25 rupees for Indians. A must go experience
