Small compact airport. Have a lounge with efficient staff. Lots of beautiful and colourful decoration. A/C vents with turbans, is a lovely idea.

Airport is modern with all the facilities needed. The airport is more than expected for Vadodara, hoping to see some international flights too from Vadodara airport

Not a busy airport. It's quite silent out there on the lower floor & looks more of a railway station than that of an airport the upper floor looks a bit of airport. There are no restaurant or shops where you can relish a full lunch or dinner. Just a small premium lounge. You get few sandwiches & vadapav at an exorbitant cost. Hence have food or carry your food out when you plan to travel. The taxi drivers outside the airport will ask you enormous cost & when you book uber they will cancel the rides. Hence plan your travel in advance & ask help of people to get the approximate cost.

This is a neat and clean airport with supportive staffs. This is a newly built airport terminal located righ next to the old terminal. Even this is an international airport (with immigration counters etc) but no international flight is yet scheduled from this airport. As of April 2022, there are flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Jaipur. There are check-in counters and security check alley at the ground floor. The departure gates ate located on ground and first floor. The first floor has a Lounge (only selected card holders are given access. Most of eligible visa and MasterCard are not allowed access for wierd reasons). There is also a smoking zone and few snacks counters. At the arrival hall, there are three conveyor belts for luggage. Washrooms at both arrival and departure halls are clean. There are also drinking water taps right outside of washrooms.

Have used this terminal several time for arrival and departure. Service is quite good for Indigo, ground staff is always ready to help the customers. Baggage service is faster than other places. The lounge is ok types and needs to be improved. The washroom and baby care room at the first floor departure is very close to smoking room hence, they are unbearably smelly. Need to shift the smoking room from the current location.

It is small yet nicely maintained domestic airport. Standard facilities, cool amenities and the architecture is pretty. It was my first time here and it was good. Since it is not too huge, easy to follow with no confusion. Washrooms are well maintained, you have Uber and auto facilities available at the exit.

Vadodara Airport, (IATA: BDQ, ICAO: VABO) is an international airport located in the northeast of Vadodara, Gujarat, India in the suburb of Harni. It is the 3rd busiest airport in Gujarat after Ahmedabad and Surat International Airport The existing domestic terminal at Vadodara Airport, named after the Maharaja of Baroda State, is distinct from other airports due to its mix of Gujarati and architectural styles complete with domes on the roof. The terminal is small and cannot handle large numbers of passengers. The old terminal covers 4,519 square metres and can handle 250 passengers. To enhance the capacity of the airport as well as to launch international services, it was decided to construct a new Integrated Terminal Building. An international architectural design competition was held to invite designs for the new terminal. Eventually, a design submitted by United States-based consortium Gensler, Frederic Schwartz Architects and Creative Group from India won the competition and the contract to design the new terminal was awarded to them. The foundation stone for the new terminal was laid on 26 February 2009. Construction work started in May 2011 and completed by August 2016. The new terminal has an area of 18,120 sq. meters with the ability to handle 700 passengers (500 domestic and 200 international) per hour. It has 18 check in counters. The AAI has recently constructed a night parking facility at the airport which can park about nine Airbus A320 or Boeing 737-800 aircraft thus reducing the burden at Mumbai Airport and Ahmedabad airport, proving economical for airlines. The new integrated terminal building was inaugurated by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi 22 October 2016.The new terminal constructed at the cost of Rs. 160 Crores is also the second green airport of India after Cochin International Airport. The new Terminal area also houses a big picturesque garden wherein marvelous art works and sculptures by the city artists are installed (Vadodara is known for its culture, art and education and is the Cultural Capital of Gujarat). The new International terminal building holds a world record - having the longest single sheet rooftop measuring 164.2 meters. Currently, the airport does not handle cargo. Vadodara Airport has topped in the country and bagged the Swachh Bharat Award 2019 for the cleanest and safest airport in the category of airports having annual passenger handling capacity of 1.5 million.

Very much in the city. Easily accessible. Aesthetically pleasing airport. Mostly domestic flights. Autos right outside the airport (200 meters from arrivals). Baby changing room facility available. Nice seating arrangements made. Washrooms can be better. Premium lounge: Located on 1st floor. Some debit cards are not accepted. Very limited food. Sandwich, roti, sabzi and rice. That's for the lunch. Open from 5.15am to 9.15pm Check photos for more details
