★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter has been learning carnatic vocal from Vimala madam.She is an excellent dedicated teacher who has a very deep knowledge of music.She sings well and also knows how to teach kids in a way they enjoy and take interest in what they learn.She teaches Veena and bhajans also. Fortunate to get such a guru.

Mam is very inspiring with her knowledge in music, she is very passionate about teaching her students and does it with whole-heart. She has the most important quality of a teacher - patience and observation. She observes closely and corrects our mistakes subtly. She is quite friendly that eliminates the fear and allows one to enjoy and learn the nuances of the art.
Best part of her classes is that she tries to bring out one's talent naturally than imposing methods. She is impartial towards her students and gives ample time to learn them till we get it right. She is very punctual and never misses a class until you miss them :P . Her involvement, energy, knowledge makes the classes an adoring and lively one . She is very lovely, gentle and kind person i have met so far <3.
Apart from classes she has also put in extra effort to get us the right saraswati veena. Overall these classes are worth for every penny you pay.
I love these classes for one major reason that it breaks the monotony of IT industry and brings peace and harmony within oneself. Yes!! Iam totally in love with her classes and completely satisfied.

3. Mam is versatile that apart from the above she is a great cook too.

Apart from learning she also talks about our ancient music traditions which inspire me a lot. Mam will treat us like her own family member. I also got new Tanjore Sarawathi Veenai which was my dream only bcoz of Vimala Mam . Thank you Mam for encouraging me in each level. God bless you and your family Mam.?

Initially it was meant for my daughter but seeing the professionalism and dedication of Vimala Ma’am, I joined as well. Vimala Ma’am is highly talented and has in-depth knowledge in Carnatic music. She pays individual attention to each of us. When lockdown happened, she even provided one of her own Veena for us to practise at home and takes online classes. Today we are happily learning from home thanks to Ma’am. I strongly recommend Varna Veena for anyone who is passionate about learning Veena or vocal Carnatic.
