I planned this trip as a solo workation from hills for a week but I ended up extending the trip for a month. It is at a walking distance to Bhima Kali temple, King Palace, Pheasantry and a Monastry. Very close to the market and all the lovely restaurants & bars of the area. The whole place makes you feel at ease and very welcoming. The hosts were really nice, easy to talk to and very friendly. I would definitely come again, would suggest you the same. Never felt that a vacation can be this homely and comforting...leaving this place with a hell lot of memories. Not to miss, do visit the host's Apple orchards and have a taste of the organic Apples and Pears. Would recommend the solo travellers to stay here for an overwhelming experience. It was definitely a home away from a home for me can be the same for you!

m	mukta goel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad experience of staying there. We booked the guest house for 3 days. First morning there was no water in the washroom till 12noon. Our half of the day was wasted in just arranging the water so that we can use the washrooms. As we were traveling with kids it's was very difficult to manage. Bathrooms were in pathetic condition. No proper drainage. Taps were all leaking. There was no water in washbasin for our entire stay. Somehow we managed. Except bed ,one table and two chairs nothing was provided in the room. As mentioned in the description no TV, no electric kettle. Common kitchen was on ground floor , so for small things you have to go from 2nd floor to ground floor in such a cold weather. There are very good options available in the vicinity.
s	swati sukhija on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The host will only talk politely with you but not get any work done. You could stay there if you need a place to crash for a night; but don't expect any service. Nothing is there except the room. Kitchen is there with no gas and you won't receive any response for your service requests too. We just asked for two basic things : toilet paper and warm water. For the first one we were asked that these are things people bring for themselves. And for the 2nd one, they didn't even bother to respond back.
B	Bhawna Panwar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Varun place for a week and enjoyed our time admid the scenic beauty of Sarahan. This is the only place with amazing wifi speed as we were able to manage our work from mountains. Varun is an amazing host and we would love to stay here again.
A	Aahana on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we first saw this flat on internet, it seemed almost too good to be real. But everything was as perfect as it was advertised. Varun Sood is the most thoughtful, gracious hospitable host. The flat is just perfect. Rooms are fitted with all the necessities and beds are comfortable. Location is incredible. View from the room and terrace is breath-taking. As soon as you open the curtain you have beautiful view of Shrikhand ranges which are covered with snow. He provided us with all the information we needed to plan our day. He also offered us the local guide at a reasonable price which in fact was much lower if we would have negotiated ourselves. Food offered by our host Varun was like eating at home. We have a little one who is a fussy eater also liked the food and gave the food provided to us a big thumbs up. If you feel like cooking, (personally I don’t when I am on holidays) they also have a beautiful Kitchen which is compact and contains everything you need. If I ever visit Sarahan again, I will definitely come here again. Highly recommended.

As this property is located in a small town named, Sarahan, I wasn't expecting it to be a luxury but it really surprised me with an amazing Wi-Fi speed and hospitality by the super-host Varun. I indeed enjoyed watching sunrises right from the room and services had been flawless. I highly recommend this for budget travelers.

The view from the rooms is just soothing. Calm, peaceful, serene, everything you need away from the hectic daily schedule. To my surprise, the food was just delicious. I have ordered all my meals here and loved every bit of it. Mr. Sood was just fantastic. He will take care of all that you need and ways with polite and smiling face. I do highly recommend everyone to visit Varun guest house and enjoy the scenic beauty of Sarahan. Will surely come again and stay for longer.
