β β β β β Consulted the doctor for my 5 months old daughter as she was cranky from quite a while. The doctor cited ear pain as a reason for the same and prescribed medication.
This medication had no effect on the baby's behaviour and was sleepless the entire night
Called up the doctor sensing urgency of the situation and narrated the ordeal
Instead of providing a remedy and giving some relief to the baby doctor asked us to visit in the morning and disconnected the call before any further doubts could be cleared
To my satisfaction, I visited another physician with the problem and he stated that their is no ear pain but instead the baby had a viral. His dosage did the miracle what a paediatric couldn't do. The baby was normal in few hours of administration
This general physician charged us mere 150 bucks and was able to identify the cause and provided medicine with therapeutic use
While the above Paediatric charged us 1000 bucks just for spending 5 mins in his not so useful cabin with prescribing medication under wrong diagnosis
So, I advise people to seek second opinion before getting inclined towards any of the specialist (for name sake)
