★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very popular hospital in Behala tram depot. Many people came here for their health check up. Very big area of this hospital. All room are neat and clean. All staffs are good. It have its own fair price medicine Shop which is open 24 hours. It have its own Mortuary for dead bodies in seperate area. It have two gates for entrance. In middle a big pond and many tree for refresh ment. In main gate entrance IDBI Bank ATM available for 24 hours. It have own parking area. Also available fair price digital x-ray, CT SCAN, & Pathology.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hospital is not only an eyewash of Mamata Banerjee, rather it's really a bad place to admit your patient. I admitted my mother here but recieved no cooperation from them.

OPD reflect the mismanagement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only government state general hospital in the area of Behala and surrounding area . Now is with multiple facilities . Nearly all departments are available here including the ayurvedic department ,they have a special well equipped emergency department ,and other unit of critical care and vasectomy centre , special tuberculosis department and fare price medicine shop ,the opd is open for Monday to Friday , the hospital is now almost cleaned and very well served . For outdoor one need to only have a ticket of just 2 rupees no other visit is required , some medicine are distributed in no cost in the hospital pharmacy. From the last few years this hospital turned up for giving better quality of medical treatment for poor and needy people and also for all. The best doctors are serving people. Now for the covid situation fever patient need to Cary their aadhar card for entry.
This hospital is situated in the next stop of behala tram deport .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Facilities are avarage good but few staffs behaviour are to wrost they are not well mannered,specially 10 no rooms lady staff she is shouting so much and 19 no staff. I know they have many pressure there service was quite better, but I mentioned 12 no rooms lady staff she is to good well mannered she is won my heart, and gents toilet are avarage but ladies toilet was unclean, some times doctors are not available ,some fans are not working overall I give 3 star because it's government hospital .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff behaviour is not good just like typical Government staff and the doctors are not available all the time. I have to wait for at least 3 and half hour for a doctor to attend my aunt who was suffering from serious attack and after attending, the doctor immediately referred her to Chitranjan Hospital. If this was the option then this can be done at the beginning. It was the God mercy that my aunt survived but they tried their best to kill her. Very irresponsible doctors. No recommended for emergency at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, Vidyasagar Hospital is much better than before. But how can the identity of the people of Kolkata be tarnished? Wherever there is a drink pick-up, dirty garbage is dumped on the hospital's streets. The doctor is fairly good. In a word, this Vidyasagar Hospital is a place of need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most Oldest Hospital in South Kolkata specially in Behala. Every one from children's to olders can go there with any type of injuries, diseases, or any type of problems. The doctor were very good and responsible. They behave so politely but you also need to have some patients because everyday there were more then thousands of sick people came up with various of cases and reach to hospital while having time in your hand also.
