Vindhyachal Temple or Temple of "Maa Vindhyavashini" is in Mirzapur Uttar Pradesh. This one of the most famous and popular temple of Uttar Pradesh. The temple is approx 70-80 Km from Varanasi and 210 Km from Gorakhpur. The huge crowd comes daily to take Blessings from Maa Vindhyavashini Devi. Here some times you may get huge number of queue and devotees. There are many small shops are here near the temple to buy bangles, wood toys , stone , stone toys and prashad as well. The tea you will be served in the Kulhad which is the USP of this place. The products are costly you should be a good bargainer to get the goods at reasonable rates. There are 3 Aarti time for Maa Vindhyavashini Devi. Around 1 PM the sringar of Maa happenes every day. There is not any ticket to visit the temple. I have visited the temple many times in Morning , Afternoon and Evening but I would recommend to visit the temple in morning 6-7 AM. After the temple you should take the tea from any local shop and enjoy the weather and that sacred felling. The hotels are not very good here because I feel most of the people stay in Varanasi which is 80 Km from here. Some hotels and Dharmshala ( Birla) are here with basic amenities only. Food will only be vegetarian food. Other temple like Asthbhiji is not very far from here. Holy Ganga River is also very near from temple. People also come from Ganga Snaan to visit the temple.
