★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely pathetic experience because of Cabs. No premiered bus service and hence Ola cab drivers are asking cash even if you book on site. Better to ask your hotel for car. Even monopoly cab drivers will make fun of you if you are not a strong guy. Simply be prepared with cash.

Duty-free has poor collection and operation due to its number of visitors and flight traffic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best airports in the east coast. They r planning to extend the terminal of this airport which would increase its passenger travel capacity. The picturesque front view is what people crave for . U have enough option for snacks considering it is a small airport. Happy travel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visakhapatnam international airport is mid size airport. Always try to reach 2hrs before your flight time to avoid difficulties. During onward journey you will get cab but you will face difficulties for cab from airport, better to avoid cab from airport else you can come to NH for local transport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visakhapatnam airport is one of the few airports that I have seen..I know vishakapatnam airport has become a major international airport which has become very useful for the people of Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram and other districts here .. Apart from that the coffee cafes set up on arrival are also good for visitors It seems to me .. When entering the airport before the vehicles did not park, the parking fee of those who take the parking fee of its passangers noticed that it was very good for me to take the amount only for parking. I'm still talking to the airport manager about the fine he put on my car unnecessarily and I still feel sad that he did not take any action

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A well maintained, clean and tidy airport in the beautiful city of vizag. Surrounded by mountains on one side , it provides some picturesque views . The airport is medium sized . The entry , check in and boarding process are smooth . It's always better to reach 2 hr before to avoid rush . It has one food outlet in first floor near gate no 4 . It's good and reasonable . Washrooms are clean. It also has a baby care room for feeding the little ones . Overall a decent airport .
Update ( as on 16/02/22) : The old food outlet near gate 4 has closed and a new multi food outlet has opened on opposite side.
