★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has been very long since from which i eager to visit Idliwale but finally we made it.
Ambiance is good even though it is small. The kitchen is superb. Both staff and kitchen is so clean that barely observed such a thing in any other place.
However, there is no seating arrangement. So, if you are comfortable with stand and eat then you can try this. Also there are stairs outside you can use it and enjoy your food there.
It has limited menu but different in taste. Idly is so soft you don't need to bite. Just like, gets starts to melt down once you eat it. What can i say about taste of combination. It's better to go there and have a taste.
We have tried their Idly chicken and Idly chtaney sambar. Both are awesome.
Parking won't be problem there. You will get easily space.
Overall it's really good experience there
Must visit this place if you are food lover.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was as usual amazing. Soft idlis, amazing podi chutney and tempting chicken ghee roast. Sambar and green chutney were equally good. I even had one idli with ghee roast masala and the combo was extraordinarily yum. Just thought the chicken was a little undercooked. Rest all well!

The green chutney came in huge quantity but white coconut chutney was missing. Tomato chutney was ok.
Sambar was good in taste and so was ther idly fluffy and soft .
But the size of the idly and dosa is too small (mini dosa) and it’s pretty costly .
Received everything cold so didn’t find anything extraordinary or to rave about.
Might taste better if it was hot or warm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there to get some idlis. But even before I ask for anything I was told that they can not serve the food cause it was ALMOST 6 pm. Please note there were few minutes left to 6pm. Then when I asked why are you denying the order I was told that idlis are finished. When I asked what is there available now another waiter confirmed that one plate idli can be served which was the exact thing I wanted.
I don't understand the unwillingness to serve the order
I don't understand why can't they atleast listen to the customer before simply rejecting their order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slightly disappointed with the set up at Baner. Only Idly chutney Sambar was ready at 08:00am, even coffee was going to take 10nmins.Estimated time for other items like Kundapuri Chicken, Srilankan Egg Curry was 15 mins with no seating arrangements.
Seating should be provided for a concept like this or just publish it as a take away outlet.

The idlis are the softest I've ever had, the chicken curry is very good, the fried idlis are very good, the mutton is good (could be a little softer), the Thai and Sri Lankan curries are pretty ok, the prawns are decent, the sambar and green chutney could be a little better.

I tried Chicken + Idli for the first time at 'Idliwale' and I loved it.
Lip-smacking combination of Idli and Chicken utterly satisfied our taste buds.
Apart from that our absolute favourite was their Chicken Ghee Roast Stuffed Curry Bread. Do try their tastiest hot coffee as well!
There was no place to sit and you have eat while standing up but it was totally worth the effort.
