K	Kamalesh Murmu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Becoz of i am an forest employee, i always prefer forest guest house or cottages. This place is awesome. Very big compound with full of greenery. Rent is very reasonable comparing to private guest houses. There is a fossils park and a nature interpretation centre. Having parking zone for cars. There is 3 cottages with 2 room. So you have to book earlier. You can spend time in the park with family. Also there is a big lake at the back the compound. In winter you will see migratory birds. There is a canteen. Food is very good. You will get whatever you want to eat. Also fast food available. They are very familier. Biswa bharati and annya hat is very near from here. 15 min walking distance. Will recommend for every one who want to visit shantiniketan.

M	Mr. Sayantan Sarkar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Eco-resort is located near Shyambati in Bolpur. From Prantik rail station, this resort is just 15 minutes by hired auto / toto. West Bengal Forest Development Agency ( A Govt. of West Bengal U/T ) and local forest protection group are managing this property, jointly. There are A.C rooms ( Budget - Rs.1200/- + 12% GST ) , Non A.C Rooms ( Budget - Rs.800/- + Service Charges as applicable ) and dormitory. Check in time - 12 noon. Check out time - 11:30 am. In-house restaurant is there to serve boarders . All kind foods are easily available there. If you take your child, no need to be worried ! There is a good couple , who will take care of your child without any hesitation. Foods for vegetarian , non vegetarian , child separately available as per request. From here, you can visit following places easily : 1) Visva Bharati university ( 5 minutes walk ) 2) Sonajhuri ( 2 minutes walk ) 3) Prakriti Bhavan ( 5 minutes walk ) 4) Deer Park 5) Ballavpur Sanctuary Positives : 1. Management is good and cooperative . 2. Rooms , attached toilets, in house restaurant are well maintained. 3. Wide green 4. Silence Try pure home made pickles ( Prepared by Mr. Indrajit Das and his wife Mrs. Lakshmi Das ) during stay here. Try Deshi Murgir jhol , veg. meal and noodles here.
D	Debdeep Samanta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moderate stay with 2 rooms in each cottage, having 2 beds each room. The location of the cottages are beautiful. One big disappoint is at night there is no continuous source of light from main gate to the cottages.
A	Atanu Mallick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location and ambience is great. Three two rooms double bedded AC cottage and one six bedded non AC Dormitory are there. Rate is reasonable. Cottage 1&2 and dormitory are situated side by side but cottage 3 is situated separately. Homely food but rate is little high. There is no purified drinking water facility. You have to buy mineral water every time.
R	Rajarshi Dutta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No maintenance at all. Decided to book here seeing pre-pandemic reviews and it was a mistake. A bad smell was there in the rooms, bedsheets was not clean, towels had bad smell, chair was broken, the tiles in the toilet had cracks and made rooms for ants and other insects. The ac started making noises and during midnight it started pouring water on the bed. Food amount and quality was horrible and overpriced. Decided to have the meal in Amar Kuthi next day. Cleanliness was a big issue in the canteen, hairs were here and there, from the table to the dishes. Part of the roof of the garage broke down and made scratches in the roof of my car. It was the worst experience I had ever in my life. Even, the person who was in charge of this property too complained of this non maintenance and have asked his officers to not to take any booking if such condition persists. (I don't know whether he had truly asked his officers or not, but when he told me this, atleast he had honestly accepted the problems faced by us) P.S. there was no one to open the museum or to guide the guests, it was unofficially closed. Oct, 2021.
