Being a food blogger, I'm feeling guilty to give this place a rating of just 1.
Last Sunday, me and my friend visited this place.
Firstly while we were going up using the staircase, the urine smell was almost chocking our nose.
Then when we entered, I found the only person in the hospitality section. This man was very polite and very humble.
From the given menu we chose to have a preparation of squid and a preparation of chicken.
1. Both the dishes were over powered with soya sauce
2. Both the dishes were extremely salted
3. While we asked them to change the squid dish (as it was super salted. It was feeling like someone poured a jar of salt in it), they just added some more sauce amd vinegar. So, the salt was over powering again.
4. While I asked for discount for this bad quality food, they just gave 30/- discount only.
5. By the way, both the dishes were tasting same.
6. After tasting these two flop dishes, we cancelled the plan of ordering darsaan.
Now, if you are thinking why I gave that one star, it's all for the man and hospitality. He has earned that one start while the management of this restaurant failed to grab a single one.
PS : please have a check with the chef and tell him that nobody cuts squids like he did and cooked. Squids are always enjoyable for its ring texture and shape only (even after cooking)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just ordered in swiggy their fried rice (it said to have chicken, egg, prawn) didn't have prawn and chicken was in so less 2 or 3 I guess. And the rice tasted horribly bad , it was awfully bad experience. don't recommend. Wasted my 412 rupees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambience is splendid. It's like a hobbit hole, warm and filled with good food and great spot for a romantic dining as well. I loved it. Prices were very reasonable, but most importantly the service of the staffs were without question, one of the best in kolkata. The food was incredible btw. Cheers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good ambience and has all the items from the Chinese section (lamb, squid, octopus!) but alas, the chef does not even know how to cook them. The squid is thoroughly enjoyed because the ring cuts bit this chef do not even know how to cut a squid. The food taste was oveele spicy, too much of salt. When changed, they just add some more sauce and vinegar. Their whole cooking is too much dependable on soya sauce. The owner is perhaps the rudest in the food business. I believe he will be thrashed soon by one of the customers if he continues to behave like this. When complained about the tasteless food, he agreed to give us a discount of just 30 bucks. Wow.
Why this one star? It's for the waiter (the one and only during the time of visit!) who was polite and courteous.
Please re-do all the necessary checks before opening up a restaurant. Also, please learn to behave. Though it was a food tasting session and the owner contacted me, this does not mean that I will write a good review when I know the food deserves 1 rating.
