This store and particularly the owner is a shame on the Tata name which for years has taken pride in the great customer satisfaction that people experience.
I went to this store with my 11 year old son who needed some help with a reflex2 watch which he had been gifted. The lady at the counter was willing to help but was stopped by the owner who was hanging around. He demanded a proof of purchase from his store or said would not help. This sounded absolutely crazy as here we were with a brand new and genuine Tata product and were being asked for proof of purchase!! For a moment I was left wondering whether I was at a Tata store or at a local smuggler's store!! What would this man have lost out on if he had just let his staff spend 5 minutes with my 11 year old son to help him out? Still wondering.....
The man was full of haughtiness and some sort of misplaced pride. Works with the Tata's but knows nothing about their ethos. He did a great disfavour to the Tata's today.
The only positive that I can count from this experience is that my 11 year old learnt a bit about how the world also has such nasty people.
