We can see Bandra - Worli Sea link Bridge ? The Worli Fort is considered to have been built by the British around the 17th century as a lookout for enemy ships and pirates. Alternate accounts suggest that it was built by the Portuguese during the 16th century. Regardless, overlooking the Mahim Bay at a time when Mumbai was just a group of islands, the fort was of great strategic importance to the British Navy guarding the western coast of the country. The fort has a built in well, a temple and plenty of space to soak in views of Mahim, Bandra. And the iconic Bandra-Worli Sea link outside the fort are platforms for cannons, a reminder of its military significance in the past. This fort is among the three that overlook the Mahim Bay on Mumbai’s western coast, with Mahim Fort and Bandra Fort to its north. All three forts were adapted by the British to boost defense along the coast, even though only Worli Fort is considered to have been built by them.

The fort itself is not a cool place, gotta hike a kilometre from the worli sea front bus stop to get here. The views of the sealink are pretty good, further in low tides you can actually go underneath the bridge and appreciate the engineering behind.

Another Watch tower in Mumbai (Worli). Not accessible by four wheeler. Two wheeler can, but there are houses in the close vicinity and also some construction work going near the fort area. Best mode of transport is Cycle or Walking.

Don't go there. There's nothing to see and fort is also closed. You have to walk for about 1.5km from the bus stop and you'll get disappointed upon reaching. It's better to spend your time somewhere else.

Not very clean surrounding... But the view from the fort is beautiful.. complete coast line from bandra to worli can be seen... Good sun set views ..

Special place. The fort is in fair good shape and good views of the sea. But the most surprising fact is that the vibe of the area is so different. Its like you've stepped in a complete different place in middle of a bustling city like Mumbai. A typical fisher village
