The place is nice but the reasons for giving one star are .I did ttc from here 1)teachers partial behavior towards student especially lokesh sir.I know grading doesn't matter but at the time of certificate distribution I saw many of students with distinction even they were not attending classes and bunking aasana class also I am not talntal about me but on which basis they decides this I don't know if so ..they should tl not allow people's who disdid practice yoga daily and they want to learn ..don't allow beginners because that students feels embarrassing bevabec of not getting perfect aasana 2)we are not coming here just for the certificate but for the beginning it was difficult .At least let beginners practice for yog at there home for a month and then allow 3)the food was unhygienic because so many times we saw cockroaches and honeybee into daal . 4)no food options they repeatedly gave similar food and one thing they told us not to eat yesterday's food but they serve us idali upma in the morning which was yesterday's idali 5)the rule is not followed by them silence at the time of eating and all

Good part ---One of the best place I have visited till now ,you will find happy people all around ashram from students to teachers to management .Exellent quality food ,very green surroundings ,very humble management and very easy to reach if you have complaints .No forced religious activities (you can attend if you want to ).all most all lectures consists of yoga ,anotomy, meditation etc and are exellent and makes lots of sense in real life after the course is over as well . Negative----Aasana practice was very very less and I would have been happy if they had regular 2 hours asana lessons in mornings and evenings as mentioned in website ,The accommodation needs some more maintenance .

It's an amazing ashram, the teachers were great. One BIG flaw - the main guy who runs it is a very hardcore RSS supporter. So much that he disrespects the students who are not necessarily BJP pro. A political, extremist viewpoint throwing person at an ashram where you have come for spiritual reasons is a big turnoff. Otherwise, great place.

An experience of Life Time ? I completed my Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga course recently. The teachers very absolutely supportive, welcoming, caring and attentive of all questions. The syllabus is so well structured including theory and practical Classes on pregnancy and post pregnancy yoga, ayurveda therapy for pregnancy, psychology class, yoga kriyas including jal neti and vaman, yoga nidra, pranayama, meditation , chanting, etc. The ashram is located in a very beautiful place surrounded by hills, lakes and greens. The food is satvik and very healthy. So much exposure on learning so many things. Cannot thank enough for it!!!!

I took training in Yog Vidyadham almost for 3 years way back from1994 to 1997. I completed training till Yoga-Pravin then. I must say I was lucky enough to receive training from Pornima tai. No words are enough to write my experience. ??

This is an edited review.. earlier I had given 5 stars. Now I am disappointed..I had done 3 online courses( upto yog shishak which is also called as Teacher's training course) It was okay. The teachers were all cooperative and very knowledgeable. They solved the doubts even on call apart from the class. I did learn a lot but the classes were in Marathi (and they said that english batch is not available at the moment) so was a bit difficult to understand. But still I wanted to learn so I accepted it. So they provided english book to me so that I can understand it better. The Yog Pravesh book was great. Then the Yog Parichay book a bit okay. Lots of mistakes in the english version. And the third book Yog Shikshak ( one or two chapters were missing.. also some pages were missing.. some pages were repetitive...) So again I faced a difficulty in that... And (recently)a few days ago, I went on their website called 'yoga point'.. there I found information on Teacher's Training course.. especially the ones which foreigners and also others who stay there and wish to learn from there. They even have provided pdf links when you scroll down for the books and the syllabus too. Anyone can download it and see the difference... I downloaded it and found that their syllabus is so vast and so informative. With colourful pictures. With indepth knowledge. Like the best knowledge. So I was really disappointed. I do agree that foreigners and others are provided stay at gurukul and lots of other facilities..Also the course fees includes the stay, food, etc.. too...But I dont understand this - they provide different books at gurukul (trimbakeshwar) and different books to people who learn from the branch located at College road even though the language is English. The authors are completely different. Also the books at gurukul are carefully drafted with proper language! I was disappointed to know about this because they told me that Yog Shikshak Varg (at the college rd branch) and Teacher's Training Course (at gurukul) are one and the same.. but why there is difference in the books??? I did it online due to covid. I agree that teaching varies in online mode and in face to face mode. So anyone who wants to become a yoga teacher, I will recommend them to learn from the gurukul or online if you want to learn in English (english batch only) and make sure the books which you get are the ones which are provided at gurukul. And not the ones which are at college rd. Please make sure of this and then only proceed. I am not against anyone but just sharing honestly my experience. Like I am mentioning again.. the teachers were all good and I learnt a lot from them!

Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Teachers Training at Yogapoint: My experience which I am keen to share; I fell in love with the institute and it’s team. And I will pursue more courses from them. They are not just knowledgeable but they share all that what they know and try to go above and beyond to make sure you understand the concepts correctly. I am one difficult person to teach but they have all the world’s patience and tremendous knowledge. Your assignments will be closely reviewed and responded with thorough response. Your every question will be answered. I surprisingly started so many good habits during this course without even noticing. I appreciate this team so much for their efforts to make my understanding better and making me even more attracted towards better life with yogic sciences.
