★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We met at Union Bank of India , Mid Corporate Branch in Lee Road kolkata to felicitate and beautiful with Mrs Kanta Chakraborty and her indomitable spirit to fight all odds to bring up 20 destitute children of Dum Dum railway station platform and adopt them and nurture them and bring them up with motherly care and affection. These girls are all studying in good schools and are pursuing their sports and hobbies also and brought laurels from national as well as international tournaments. We salute Madam Kanta Chakraborty who is a govt teacher by profession and despite with limited means she took up the gauntlet with guts of steel to bring up the girls last 13 yrs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanic Garden known as The Botanical Garden which is situated in sibhpur, Howrah .It is mostly famous for its Great Banyan Tree ? which boasts of having the largest canopy in the world. This is a beautiful place for Nature lover and also for peaceful place with varities of trees and many more flora and faunal wonders, many Birds are also present there.There is also a lake with boating facility.??No plastic bags are allowed in this Garden .It is a very soothing place , I suggest you to visit there to give your eyes a greenry gift and peace to soul??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am an undergraduate student from the Department of Physics. There are 7 teachers in our dept.The Teachers are very helpful and co-operative, and they explain the topics really well! At a first glance the college may not seem very shiny and glistening but it really has a descent study environmental.
The thing is the infrastructure of the clg is still under development for which I gave it a '3 star' rating. But hope to see a brand new version of it in the upcoming days as the construction work is speeding up. Apart from this the clg provides all other facilities that an undergraduate science clg should have.
And most importantly there is no such problems of political unions. From that respect it has a peaceful ambience.
Last but not the least, the central library has a good stock of books, especially of physics, chemistry,mathematics, accounts and economics.
