★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bhawanipur Education Society College (or Bhawanipur College) is a private, co-educational, undergraduate college affiliated with the University of Calcutta in Kolkata, India. It is at 5, Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani (Elgin Road) of the Bhowanipore area of Kolkata. The college was started in 1966 for boys and girls by the efforts and donation of money and land by Gujarati community living in Kolkata. The Six-storied building was constructed with major donations from other city-based Gujarati industrialists and businessman. The college is managed through The Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Society. The Society enjoys the status of linguistic Minority Educational Institutions under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of India. Umang is the annual cultural fest of the college.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely well maintained premises, 3 star ambience,students,looking smart and snappy, are from the middle income groups,and are offered a wide range of academic pursuits.However,physical activities are probably not so highly ranked,it seems.
All above observations are from conversations with ex students,not actual visits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ College and school campus are same, it should be different. College always prefer first Gujarati students irrespective of talents and marks.
There is need to take some deciplinary
actions against students as there is too much of irregularities.
Response by college is too late for any mails and other.
College fees is too expensive in respect of facility. Instead of fees is too expensive, college charge for other course as well.
Canteen foods are delicious.
There is only one ground of basketball in which college use to play cricket, football, badminton and other sports.
There is sport Arena for indoor games which is also smaller in respect of number of students.
Interior of the college is superb.
Teacher are nice, friendly, helpful and so on.
At the time of rainy season college campus become pond, it create too much problem for students as well as teachers.
College library is fabulous and well maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was situated at Bhawanipur in South Kolkata. It was established in 1966 as co-education undergraduate College under University of Calcutta. The college is supervised by the Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Society. It presents humanities, science and commerce courses. It's BBA course is admired by many students. Umang is the annual cultural fest of the college. It's one of the best college in South Kolkata. The notable ex-students are Dilip Sanghvi, Ridhima Ghosh, Nusrat Jahan, Jeet, Bipasha Basu, Nicolette Bird, Ashok Todi etc etc.
