★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aji Dam situated on the river Aji, which satisfies the water supplies of its city. The maintenance of the dam is done by a local municipal corporation. An amusement park and a zoo in the surroundings that makes this place an ideal picnic spot. This dam has channelized the water of the river and maintain the ecological balance of the city and helps the city to keep the city clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a huge lake on one side of the dam. We went there in the afternoon, even then it was not unpleasant.
Tourists are allowed to walk on the walkway atop the dam. There is a large notice board in Gujarati saying 'Taking Selfies are not allowed'.
There was a whole flock of migratory birds eagerly waiting for food while floating on the lake surface. There are vendors who sell food for those birds. Once people throw the food towards the birds, these birds fly up and catch them in mid-air. Just looking at all these birds having food at once is a pleasant sight.
