People all around the Newtown area comes to visit only to look the richness of the place in their decorated style. Spends good amount of money in making a these. Special contribution by the local political person makes things possible. They also arrange stalls for food especially Bengali food of their tradition and also other dishes, one should have a look at this during festival time.

It even has a park (AK park) which is of good size and there is a place for kids too, and the near by market is CK market, where you can find all your necessary things.

Their Durga Puja pandals may not be the most extravagant, but are definitely worthy of the crowd they receive every year. One of my most favourite thing about this place is that they have a very good crowd control system, thus making it easier for people to visit the place and have a good overall experience.
