★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historical place for the Martin's Light Railways, a British Company. It was built in 1865. The line was converted to broad gauge and also electrified in the late 1970s. This very railway station of the Eastern Railway (ER) is located in the Akaipur Area. It is a halt station !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small one station is here...all the local trains are available here...well maintained and has big restroom..two shade and one rest room.. only ranaghat and santipur trains are available...its have a small unreserved ticket counter... station is clean...ticket counter is in the middle part of station...small ticket counter..its not a busy platform..trains are Available from 4:45am to 11:09 pm..its a oneway station ..

There is a toilet but it is not functional.
Also there is no computerized ticket counter.
Some of the stalls are available to fill your belly.

Not very good but it's fairly simple
The settlement of the people of the neighborhood is less than one
People's movement is very low, there is not too much train, Ranaghat to Bonga trains
