★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good stock of sweets. Much more improved quality since earlier days. Beside being a good sweet shop this is more a landmark at the 6 point crossing junction in garia station. Good and varieties stock of sweets are available. Beside sweet you can get cold drinks too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday brought rasogolla and Mishti Doi. Misthi Doi is moderate in quality but Rasogolla was not fresh. instead of giving from display rack they gave me from dekchi. Too bad in quality.....please avoid this place.. pathetic experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A sweet shop located at the junction of Garia Station and Srinagar Lal Gate, Garia. It is very popular among the locals. It sells traditional Bengali sweets. Especially, those boiled in sugar syrup. The shop remains open quite late in the night. An ideal place for indulging your sweet tooth. There is a wide variety of sweet meats to choose from. Besides the popular Rosogolla, there are other sweets, similar in taste and form. The saffron coloured Kamalabhog should be tried out, at least once. The shop also sells Gulab jamuns, motichur ka Laddu, soaked in ghee ( clarified butter ) and malpuas. There is a huge assortment of sweets and snacks on display. Sandesh ( sweets made from cottage cheese) is also on offer, as well as the all favourite boondi ( coloured corn flour globules, soaked in sugar syrup). Hot, piping jalebis are sold out in the morning. All in all, the sweet shop does offer something for every taste bud and stocks up on a wide array of sweets. The sweets are all freshly made and not stale.
However, its not a fancy shop. But, a simple, nondescript, no frills attached place, where one can count on getting good ware.
